First time talking to a dealer

I've decided it is time to stop mooching off my friends and family and start buying my own bud. But with that being said I don't know how to talk to a dealer w/o sounding like a fool and getting ripped off or refused service. I got the number of some dealers. How do I ask them about quality and such? And if theyd have any psychadelics? I don't know the types of weed very well, so should I look up that? I'm probably way too paranoid but, I guess its better to be sade

 

go with your friends to buy bud and you'll pick it up quickly

 

Call the dealer up and make friends with them. Just call him up and say your friends with so and so, and you'd like to talk to him about getting some stuff but not over the phone unless he wishes. If someone calls my phone up and ask me for weed that I dont know I give them the click.

 

I met a new awsome commercial dealer last night that can get me a ounce of Mids for $10 just because I got real cool with him. I was smokin rounds of dank with that motherfucker. lol. I'm becomeing a dealer for a bit now because of how much I bought last night.

Just go to a party or some shit, i'm sure someone will have weed. Get to know the dude, or chick, and ask for prices or some shit, or what they got. If they got "Dank" or "Chronic" go for that, it's good. If they got mids or regs that's ook too, if you're not used to smoking. It's not hard, just go hangout at a party, smoke some shit that's goin around, and ask what the prices and quality of the herb.

 

thanks for the replies. But I have a few more questions still. How do I know if he has what Im looking for if I say stuff? Since I might be looking for stuff other than weed. Also, do I ask the dealer if he has any bowls or bongs for sale? How much should a bowl or bong cost? Me and my friends almost always use foilies.

 

Not trying to be mean or anything but I really didnt know "commercial" dealers hung out with 16 yr olds...I would love an oz of mids for $10 but I cant smoke mids anyways it just gives me a headache.

 

okay, i remember these days, waaay back. basically if the dealer has any sense he'll get your drift when you say "hey man, this is ____'s friend _____, how's it going? i was just wondering if you've got any stuff that i can pick up sometime?" if he's like uhh what are you talking about then use a euphemism like 'do you have some green' or something vague like that.

you won't find bowls/pipes at your dealers, usually. go to a headshop for that.... you might be screwed for a while though because you're not of age. but you can get an older friend to buy for you or fake id or something. foil is kinda crappy, search through some threads here and learn to make pipes

Yep. Dont talk about it on the phone. Just meet up with him and talk to him. Let him know you'll be buying from him or her now on if she has what you want. Like someone said your dealer isn't going to sell pipes or bowls. Headshop for that. But just dont say something on the phone or he'll give you the click. I use a prepaid phone with no contract and still wont talk about it.

 

in my experience its better to buy a lot of weed from someone before you start to talk about the other shit. Its easier to get ripped off on the other stuff to, so you want it to be someone u can trust.

x2. And what kind of other stuff are you reffering too? Allot of dealers these days dont carry *other stuff*. Used to your local street dealer had a back pack full of coke, meth, weed, pills, whatever you needed he had it. Today dealers focus more on the one thing they sell. Most of your weed dealers localy are just going to sell weed. I know of some the smaller dealers around here sell xanax bars on the side also. I sell weed and xanax and thats it. I make enough off xanax to pay for my supply of weed and xanax, and have all the weed profit to pocket.

 

he's probably just looking for mushies and or doses in addition. Just be sure not to call unless its ok with him

rolf sorry but that made me laugh, First time i was at my dealers i was a bit sus cuz i didnt relly no her that well and was thinking what if i dont get what i payed for, but it turns out she one of the nices people i have meet and packs up and now i am really good friends with her and can go there when ever i want.

 

unless you are already friends with the dealer i would hang out with your smoking friends more often just to kind of learn the ropes a bit more, atleast to know the difference between different qualities of weed and roughly how much a 1/8th and a 1/4 look like. oh and investing in a scale is not a bad idea. all im sayin is that most dealers will take the opportunity to scam someone, not all, but quite a few do.
