i have. just about every day of every week. except for today. i wore a brown jerry garcia shirt... but i made a tie dye with my friend.
i wore my save the planet shirt then i found my tie-dye shirt at my friend's and wore that one on top of the other one. i didn't feel like changing completely so all day i wore three shirts( i had a white under shirt) and my flowery jacket! by the way it was 98 degrees here today! i'm kinda crazy aren't i? :&
Would love to be able to make my own. I so far have been buying them. My mom used to make them for me when I was a child, but she doesn't remember how she did it. If you got any tips send them my way. Peace and Love!!!
You can by the dyes single or in commerical boxes like Jacuard (never get Tulip they suck ha ha) at any craft store, and they tell you everything to do in the instructions. I just researched and experimented on patterns and such. google is pretty helpful when I tried to find out how to do peace sign patterns so yeah. Laws to live by though would deffinitly be always do a pre wash with SODA ASH and thoroughly soak ur fabric with the dye, and make sure the fabric is 100% natural, cotten seems best. Good luck!
i know its not rocket science lol but every time i attempt to make one all hte colors wash together and it looks terrible... so i resort to buying htem even tho making htem my own and making them personal would be much more fun
