America is far from being a democracy... and much like the Republic it once was witha Constitution & Bill of Rights. Currently, with Diebold in control of voting screen software, America will not even have a govenment elected by its people.

Even if it were a democracy and the votes were real, the current Corporate Socialism + Conservative Nationalism =Nazism in 1936. Elected Mob Rule or a nation driven by the Military Industrial Complex/Fortune 500 Corporations the result is a nation that is driven by consumerism and greed. There is an answer:
Eliminate Corporate Protections and return to a Jeffersonian economy of artisans and family businesses. We as a people are so selfish that our families could hardly stand to be in each other's company for more than an occasional meal together so there would also need to be a change in our culture. The answer: To love our neighbor as ourselves.... but who will start? This economy will implode soon and what will America have if it does not change its basic outlook?

1st, I did this thread to invoke some hostility and again, vent myself.

2nd, I wanted to bring out both sides of the story and although not many people got involved here, I'm now going to try to say what is on my heart and soul the day after ther 3 year anniversary of 9/11.

If we as people can't learn to live in harmony no matter what the cost, no matter what race, creed, color or religion, WE ARE FUCKED, if we are not already. I don't have the answers for world peace. I don't know who the right person is to vote for. Hell, I don't know what I want for dinner. I do know that we all have to hold hands and take the leep together to change the world.
