Has anyone ever had a dream where for example *clears throat* I was dreaming i was on a beach and a bird came swooping down and the moment the bird hit me in my dream was the same exact moment my sister had thrown a book at me to wake me up (it hurted yes). It was like i was aware of my surroundings while i was asleep. Or like i was tryin to tell myself "hey, somethings coming at you ........ NOW!" I have had more dreams like this and its kinda freaky. *curls up in fetal position*
Oh yeah, that always happens. I think it's just your mind [sill in dreamstate] trying to make sense of how you feel. For example, you might bang your leg in your sleep and start dreaming about falling from a high place because of it. Then, when you wake up, you'll almost want to think that your dream of falling MADE your leg hurt in the first place, when really you banged it as you were sleeping and it never woke you up. Oh, and whenever there's a thunderstorm, I always dream about thunder in my dream. And sometimes my alarm clock going off will set off dreams about something really annoying, or somebody annoying talking to me. Very weird stuff.
this has happened to me. a very long time ago when i was a kid i dreamed about these colorful monsters came out of a video i wasn't supposed to watch (but was too intrigued not to). when i woke up, i saw something in my room that looked exactly like one of the creatures. i hurriedly put on my glasses, and to my huge relief it was just a pile of my clothes in similar colors and shapes. (i have really bad vision). it was weird, though, for a moment i thought one of my monsters had followed me out of my dream.
Heh yea i could see why you would dream up something annoying associated with the alarm clock Im glad things cant follow us out of dreams, who knows what would come out
