Just wondering if any of you folks get so worked up listening to certain songs you cry. Like "Wooden Ships",or "Tuesday Afternoon" Or movies for that matter.Like "Flashback" with dennis hopper and queefer sutherland, man that part when they get back to the commune, well I just fucking lose it! I realize this is a very personal question, but I'm not talking fuckin love songs and movies, I'm talkin hippy songs and movies. If we share what moves us, we will probly get a better understanding of eachother. Plus maybe new/old music and movies to check out. Songs that move me include, CSN&Y "Almost Cut My Hair","Wooden Ships" Dylans "Last thoughts on Woody Guthery",not a song ,but man! Supertramps "Logical Song" and "Child Of Vision" Neil Youngs "Powderfinger" Joni Mitchells "Woodstock" and "One Tin Soldier" All of these make me cry like a little girl! So brothers and sister what songs move you!
God , all the TIME...Joni Mitchell's Both sides now , and the Beatles Let it be...too many to name all of them , but it happens to me all the time. Oh , but the ones that really gets to me is Blind Faiths Cant find my way home....and Three Dog Nights Shambala
Yeah, I'm also wasted and can't find my way home either. Another one that gets me is Wet Willies "Keep On Smilin" Those are some great tunes!
My Back pages.....is another good one , by The Byrds...the lyrics are sweet , but kinda sad at the same time.
The Trial of Billy Jack has several tear-jerker scenes the end of Hair(the movie) get the waterworks runnin round here too
"San Francisco" (Be Sure To Wear Some Flowers In Your Hair) never fails to get my waterworks a flowin' ....
