Okay, let's have some fun and maybe learn something. This is how this thread will work. We'll have a weekly assignment. Each of us will go out and shoot the assignment and post our pics. Then we'll discuss and learn. When you post your pic, give all the specifics. Camera used, settings (if any), time of day, where etc. You can only submit 1 picture. It cannot be enhanced in any way (photoshop etc). You can crop it but no color adjustments or anything like that. Who will give the assignments? I'll do the first one (hey, I started this!). The next person to post a comment in this thread will be next and so on. Okay, first assignment: shoot a picture with water in it. Due: 9/30/07 (week will start on Monday and end on Sunday) Go out and shoot!! Edit: Oh, let's not use old pics you already have. Let's take them as the subject is mentioned.
I love this idea Ill definitely participate. So I need to assign the next one? Oh wow, this is fun (Ill do it after the submission of the first one, if that's ok)
I'd Really like if each week we could have a new thread for it. would you mind if i made a new one with this weeks info and assignment. then each week i will make that post a sticky for the week. also, by the way, i love this idea!
fantastic idea chuck.....every eye sees differently.....and the common subject ...allows us to see how others view the totality of a specific subject.....and there is no right or wrong...it's an individual concept....and criticism is a learning tool...since we can all learn something..be it mechanical, balance,or lighting......these type of projects always seem to get the grey matter stirring...so count me in
Great idea, I will be away for a few days, if I can check in I will but just in case I can't I went for a walk today and came up with this for my entry http://i241.photobucket.com/albums/ff54/amongst_the_elves/competition%20pics/DSCF8675.jpg Good luck everyone, I'm looking forward to seeing some great shots
