Our dog is acting odd at night. She used to act similar when she was young, scratching at bedrooms doors whining to be let in, but tonight I noticed something. She wasn't scratching at doors...she was pulling at a table, like she was trying to barricade herself into a small space away from the stairs. I can't remember her doing this before. She's also tried going into the bathroom and hiding in there a couple of times in the past few months, something she's never tried before. She'll only go downstairs at night with somebody else (my sister just went and put her in the kitchen I think, no whining or anything yet). I hear that dogs are more sensitive to ESP-based phenomena than humans are. Is it possible there's something like that happening here? Thanks for any replies. I'm back off to bed
Animals see spirits and ghosts as well. Possibly other animal ones. My cat sees a ghost kitty that stays in my house (I see him, too.) and he flips out. Arches his back, hisses, avoids the place where he sees it at.
When I was 14, I would stay at my friends house, which was an "old" Victorian house. When her parents would leave us alone, there would be strange phenonmenom. One time we were washing dishes in the kitchen. There was a front staircase that lead to the front door. Her cat "freaked out" (hissing, hair standing on end. etc). She grabbed a big knife and we called out to every member of her family we could think of. There were sounds of someone coming down the stairs ,(her cat ran from the room) and no answer. We got no answer but the front door opened by itself and what/who ever left, so it appeared. Her cat alerted us to what was going on. What is was I don't to this day know......... I don't know that this helps but I pay attention to all pets now.
