recently ive been prescribed lunesta due to a problem sleeping at night...i sed to occasionally take pain killers with sleep aids to sleep but when i take them i wake up sayin that was a crazy dream...sometimes they seem so real i oftem double check things in real life that happen in theses dreams....it started when i had this dream where i was standing alone in a dark room i mean pitch black cant see my hand in front of my face when from out of nowhere what resembled a woman but it wasnt an ordinary woman she kinda just floated in front of me and had a pale and not much of a torso...soo on instinct i covered my eyes and in an eriely echoing voice she commanded me to look at her several times i pleaded no until i felt her grab my head still saying lookin at me....so i just starting yelling "what do you want!" several times and then she was gone for what seemed like a split second and i felt a cold breeze in my ear along with a whisper saying "you soul"...and thats where i woke up but thats where it started now they have become violent...ive had multiple dreams where ive been shot in the head but my dream still contines as i lay on the floor...i can still hear and see but cant talk or move...another i had was about a person with whom i worked with but only for a month or so because he got fired...i dont remember the whole thing but it started that i had a plot to kill him and i ended up doing so by beheading him...with each of these dreams im always waking up in a cold sweat recently ive been having dreams that start out good but end horrible...this one i was at a party and i was drinkin having a good time then it gets better this girl comes over and talks with me ant were flirting and whatnot just doing things that go on at parties...but when i woke up (in the dream) i find myself in a strange aprtment not remembering a thing that happed the night before and my wallet was on the floor containing nothing but my drivers liscense so i franically look for my cell phone to cancel the credit cards but as i go through my phone a message was there saying my service was canceled due to nonpayment...so im freaking out and these two guys walk over to me and say whats wrong with you getting involverd with her you know she's no good...i was like...What!?...and they say "that girl you were with last night, shes bad news and she gave you the "black Pills" and pulls out this bag with 2 black pills and thats were i woke up....actually when i woke up the first thing i did was check my wallet...happy to see everything was there haha but i was just looking for any insight...recently its been getting to me and i wanna know if anyone else has had problems like this due to sleep aids...or if i just have horrifying dreams all the time
Thats fucked up!! I know your not the only case I've heard of alot of people having weird dreams due to lunesta and ambien especially.I dont mess with sleep aid's personally because of side effects.. Like last night I didn't fall asleep til midnight and woke up at 4:30 this morning for work....It sucks but hey, what can ya do??
I take sleep aids a lot, ive never had a nightmare or violent dream that I can remember. I think it depends on the person.
When I have taken them, I don't dream at all. But, I have never heard anything positive come out of taking sleeping pills....and I have this thing about taking drugs that are new to the market....I like to see how many people die in the first few years before I try them....I know it sounds bad, but it happens all the time.
