I quit smoking!

    Good for you! It's great that you're doing it sooner than later. I waited until I'd been smoking for 30 years before I quit, but I've been quit almost 3 years now. And YES-quitting does change your metabolism. I've read that smoking can up your metabolism by as much as 200 calories a day. I gained a bit when I quit, but I've managed to hold it to about 10 pounds. I think I'm ALOT healthier with an extra 10 pounds than I was smoking! Not to mention, at least where I live, smoking is really becoming socially unacceptable.


    Keep up the good work-both of you.

    Here's a fun idea-rewards for yourself. Think of a great treat for yourself when you hit 3 months-that's a quarter of a year!
