Why weed? What are you like?

I would just like to ask us marijuana smokers what we enjoy MOST about smoking weed. The absolute main reason i blaze, is because it makes every situation interesting as hell. Sorta like that dude on half baked...have u ever done __? Have you ever done __..ON WEEEED? Also, when i smoke its im opening the door to "the ultimate judgment of david's brain". When i smoke and think about a certain matter that ive been struggling to come with a solution for, weed allows me to give the perfect insight on w/e i need. Its never failed.

Then my next question is, how does the weed affect your personality/functioning? Weed makes me think, thus making me shy, which sucks. Its like when i smoke, i feel every word that i say is more observed and thought about by other people, so i intend to save my words rather than leaving the possibilty of embarrasing myself. I guess when i blaze with people i lose self esteem, which sucks. Thats why i prefer to smoke alone. But when i do smoke with other people, i sit back, and observe with the judement the weed has been so kind to give me.


Well there ya have smokindude after he smokes(note: this is when i smoke anything better than mids, a middies high is more like smoking to get burntout, and we all know how that is). Now, for the million dollar question.........what about you guys/girls?

 

saving your words isnt a bad thing. I think most people talk too much and dont think about it enough first.

What I like about weed is the mental and physical effects

 

i'm the opposite of you. when i smoke, i just say things that come to my head. sometimes i look like im smart, sometimes i look like an idiot. conversations are for smoking.

and the reason i smoke (what i enjoy most) is that my life is consumed by marihuanah and to not smoke would bring me suffering, anguish. i smoke to chase away the despair, if only for a little longer.

 

Shit when I smoke I get quiet as hell unless I'm with good friends, evne then sometimes I just lock up.

But I'm always a quiet guy maybe I just notice it more on weed.

I smoek to jsut zone out and relax. It really is just an escape for me.

 

Fallout, you had the perfect definition of how I used to be when stoned, but lately I have realized I talk a WHOLE BUNCH more when stoned. Dunno why though.

 

Well for me..its like the weed kidnaps me. Ill be waiting to feel the effects then realize im like trapped inside my mind thinking lots and doing everything i explained in my post. Its not like i CANT talk when im blazed..its just i dont feel the need to. I dont feel the need to entertain my friends with my thoughts and feelings.

 

i LOVE how right after u smoke a bowl. u just start feeling lighter and lighter. and then ur face twists into an involuntary smile. and then that triumphant feeling u get when uve achieved the high u want to have.

 

That could be it.

 

And ya..like you fallout weed is an escape for me..as much as i hate admitting that. Also, im NEVER bored when im baked. I bet most will agree on that one.

what do i like most about weed?

well in general, i would have to say the massive array of different varities of cannabis... and the vast differences among them. the fact that it can be such a beautiful plant (look at some of these killer strains out there) just amazes me.

what do i like about smoking weed? gettin high of course i love how it feels, i love how clearly i can think about complicated subjects and the way it somehow makes me really think things through, it never fails to make me really ponder subjects more well rounded, more-so than i would be able to, or maybe even care to if i was sober.

this and the fact that you can go smoke it with your friends, and just have a blast, no worries, the whole nine yards.

i love cannabis altogether. the fact that one plant can do all that is pretty amazing.

 

Its litterally a herb. Its ashame that it has the reputation it has. Its just so..twisted and wrong! I know i know we all feel this way, but weed has only benefited people, besides the retards that dont know how to use it and control themselves. But i just dont get how fucking oxycontin can be prescribed and weed cant be in most states. I really think how america treats weed is a metaphor how America runs our goverment. The words that im lovin right now to describe it is...twisted and corrupt. The ones who never tryed weed is LITTERALLY being brainwashed by the goverment!

 

Weed makes me happy everytime without fail. That's why I love it.

Food is better on it, music is better, conversations...everything is just better on weed.

The only downside to it is the few times I get paranoid (which isn't often at all) and being lazy about certain things.

 

most people say im the chillest person they know, without weed. With weed i know i am the chillest person ever...just love sitting back relaxing and just talking bout anything people bring up. i love to have a good time, usually the one that makes everybody laugh..especially when everyone is high. basically i am just really laid back and funny.

Ya the one bad thing about weed is that it makes me lose all confidence in myself. I wouldnt say it makes me dumb, but my lack of confidence is what makes me dumb, not the weed itself. Its all in my head, and i know that. Im currently in the process of overcoming this 1 flaw of marijuana.

 

I first tried weed out of curiosity. I continued to smoke it because it literally blew my mind, being the first "real" drug I'd ever tried. I was so amazed that being high could give me an entirely different view of the world. It made me think about "the doors of perception" and what perception really is. When I'm high, I love thinking and figuring things out, whether they're personal or scientific (I used to love going to Physics baked). It's made me learn a lot about myself.

That, and it's social. I recently hung out with a friend I've known since I was 5, for the first time in about 5 years. Even without weed, we instantly "clicked," and it was like no time had passed between us. Then we got high.... it was amazingly fun... haha.

 

I smoke because being stoned is wonderful and it's the only time I feel like myself. I definitely have a mental dependance. When I don't smoke, I'm depressed and anxious and very, extremely volatile, and I lose my temper easily. Even if I'm not stoned, at the moment, just having smoked sometime throughout the day or the day before, I am more calm and relaxed. Even if I'm having a bad day, but I know I have a bowl waiting for me at home.....I feel better, and it's easier to deal with shit. Like smokindude said, everything is better with marijuana. It brings me happiness. It's nature's anti-depressant. That's why I smoke.

As of right now, I haven't smoked for three weeks, or so, and I feel like murdering everyone I come in contact with. I've been snapping on people for no reason. I've been throwing shit and breaking shit at work, and I'm surprised I haven't been fired for how I've been acting lately. I feel really weird lately, because I'm used to smoking three or four times, daily, which, before these past few weeks, I was doing for about 6 months straight.

My favorite things about what weed does to me, is the fact that I zone out, which I love. Sounds are more interesting, as is everything else. I actually laugh, which I never do when I'm not stoned. I concentrate better when I'm stoned, because I'm not stressing over bullshit. I'm really indifferent about the physical effects of smoking; I smoke solely for the mental effects.

But yeah.....I'm a pothead for life:spliff:

 

I smoke because it helps me relax before school and work and shit. If im not working im at school and If im not at school then im working. I also like smoking because I only smoke chronic and rarely smoke mids. I just love looking at all the dank buds I get and just checkin em out all the time lol. I love walking into a party knowing I have the best bud on the block.

and TNS, why havent you smoked for over 3 weeks now?

 

thats funny cuz i get like that sometimes.

 

i smoke weed because it relaxes my mind, it calms me down at work, and the smoke smells and tastes delicious.

plus recently i have developed heart palpitations and weed calms my heart down.
