I'm SURE that this question has PROBABLY been posted before, but I have done a search and nothing came up.. So I was hoping you guys would be able to answer it for me... If I have already paid for my accomodation and flights, do you think that 75 euros per day wil lbe enough to support myself with in Amsterdam? I am a bit of a drinker/smoker and plan to be spending a lot of my time enjoying the produce avaliable Also, does anyone know how many people could enjoy a nice high off about a gram of weed? I have NO idea and would love to be able to start budgeting for it. Thanks so much!!
75€?sounds ok to me....i've been there and i belive i've done it with less,although i mostly went to museums and stuff and did not spend to much in the coffeshops,only bought there once and that lasted... no ideea how many people can get off on a gram...
I'd say a gram of weed is only really enough for one half-way decent joint that would give a nice high to about four people if they are not used to smoking that much. €75 a day should be plenty anyway. I'd highly recommend setting aside a day for just smoking and don't even get a tiny bit drunk so you can fully appreciate the effects of THC acting on its own. That will also save you some money on that day!
i usually spend 75e per day on weed alone but i'm a heavy smoker in amsterdam. beer is very expensive so if your gonna enjoy your vacation i'd say budget for 100e per day if you can. if your gonna spend your money on the more pricey ganja, make sure your getting something really delicious. all shops have "an expensive strain" but not all of these strains are better than the cheaper stuff. if it doesn't "wow you" then move on. Coffeeshops are everywhere so you have more choices then you can imagine. Don't just get "swept up in the moment" and waste your money on mediocre weed. i have threads on this boards titled "Koopa 2007 Gold" and "Koopa 2006 Gold" which will guide you a bit. But remember the best thing you can do at a coffeeshop is wait until the place has no line at the bud counter. Then ask the budtender (one strain at a time) to see everything. Then buy what looks best that day. Don't pay too much attention to all the names of the weeds because lots of shops lie about what is what. Just buy what is best looking and smelling at that moment.
