ok, so by now you all probably know me as the person who is always posting threads asking what sexual orientation you think I am. well, I think I have found a label ( I know I don't need one, but It makes me feel better putting a name to how I feel. like its simpler or just easier.) that suits me... I am a lesbian with straight tendencies! tadah! seriously now, it does feel pretty good, I know I like women sexually and emotionally, that I only really want to be in a relationship with a woman, that I want to be with a women sexually and emotionally, that I think I may have the smallest crush on this girl I know, that I love looking at Gorgeous women I see, that the lesbian world seems so much more exciting to me, that they turn me on. among other reasons. BUT at the same time, every now and then I see a guy I am attracted to, but the only thing I find myself attracted to are things like, his features, or his character. but I would'nt really want to be in a relationship with him, or have sex with him, although sometimes I do get turned on by a guy. I don't like seeing myself as bisexual, to me it seems to say that I want relationships with men aswell, which I don't. so there you have it, again i would love to see what you all think. thanks. blessings xxxxxxxx
well to label yourself that is uncommon. The meaning lesbian is that you have a relationship and have sex with women only. Some girls do have tendencies to like guys as well thats more labelled as bi. Id ask myself do I really like guys? or is it an insecurity of feeling how the traditional views go? Would I leave being with guys and just be with girls only? its human nature to like both but then youd be more labelled as bi abd leaning towards women. I however am fully lesbian and proud of it. I only get turned on by women only. Guys to me dont mean anything to me, I get no turn on nothing, even being with a guy when I was younger and started to date felt bad. But when got into my first relationship with a girl I truly defined what I am. I love everything bout a woman and I wouldnt look for any guys anymore. You have too much fun with women, guys are just plain boring unless you are like one of the guys. lol I wouldnt be preoccupied bout lebals and go more what your heart really wants. Not what you think it wants but more like let your heart lead the way. You should find your true self that way. Good Luck!!!
A lesbian with straight tendencies.... that pretty much sums me up actually. My profile labels my as both gay and bi, becuase I sstill have the debate within me sometimes which of the two i am - either simply bi but with a much stonger attraction to women, or "a lesbian with straight tendencies" But, no, labels aren't everything - as long as you love who you are, that's the most important thing.
honeyfugle I litrally feel exactly the same, so comforting to know I am not alone in feeling like this. some days I will feel like I am definatly a lesbian with some straight tendencies and then other days I will feel like I am bisexual, but into women way more. can be really annoying, being so sure then going back to confusion. thank you for sharing. blessings xxxxxxxx
