why do you think people hate Saskatchewan? I mean, we are pretty non-offensive as provinces go. Not like that arrogant Alberta... hahha.

(there are a couple other Saskatchewanians here besides us)

its not nearly as hard to pronounce as you would imagine. You know how people from Toronto don't pronounce it as "Tor-on-to" but more of a "Tor-ah-na"? Same with Saskatchewan. People not from Saskatchewan pronounce it fully... we call it "Skat-cha-wen", more or less. lol.

people don't hate it, they're indifferent.

its much too plain and boring to work up a good hate-on.

wow, saskatchewan BORING?? I BEG to differ!
I am not "From" saskatchewan per say, or I wasnt... but I am now, I replanted roots here so i say I am from here even though i was born in Ontario cough cough choke.... but I have been here 4 years now and am in love. I left it for awhole for high wages but couldnt stay away and here i am again on the prarie. there is NOOOOOOOOOOOOO where else in the WORLD i would want to live but here! and if you can drive from the south tip to the north tip of saskatchewan and still say its boring after the Bad lands, the grass lands, the park lands, the sand lands and the lake countys then fine, its not your bag, but there is SO much natural beauty, like the Coyote that pranced through my back alley last night or the outstanding northern lights we get here its all so amazing... AND other then the jerk who hit repeat on his sterio so I have heard the song "hold my beer" about 37 times today AND the less than superb roads up north here, its purrrrrfect. HEAD STRONG SASAKTCHEWAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Beautiful and exciting aren't synonomous. Also, Coyotes are for the most part disgusting medium-sized dogs.

Coyotes aren't that bad... I mean, they aren't the most beautiful creature, but I've seen worse. There were a couple coyotes in my yard yesterday morning when I got up for work.

Yes.. i live in the middle of nowhere. Yes, thats the "middle of nowhere", in Saskatchewan. So, I live in the middle of the middle of nowhere.

    thank you...
I'm from alberta... and though the people here are just as lame and (well i guess a little richer).... suede overalls I guess.
The prairies rock... I get claustrophobic when I leave the mad sky, chinook clouds, and all....
let's hear it for the coulees?
    no?
I guess the grass is always greener....
