It is a pic of an animal... the rocks, or grandfathers as called by the Aboriginal people who placed them there are maybe 3,000 years old, or as old as the earth itself.

What'da ya think? Can you see what animal it was?

And this was also the CENTRE of Canada in this spot, by the way.

Yeah rocks are as old as the earth itself so how can we actually determine how old they really are and when they were placed there (I'm thinking more metaphorically here)

these stones and large rocks COULD very well be as old as the earth itself...because rocks are timeless and made of the earth which has no beginning and no end

... these rocks were placed in the shape of a TURTLE can you see the TURTLE? (no metaphor here)

they are called petraforms... I went yesterday and wanted to share. Supposed to be pretty sacred.

    POINT OF CONFUSION:

1)what is the correlation of rock age and supposed animal-rock formations
2)i dont think I see the turtle... would the head be on this end?... making the shell much smaller?
3)I dont even know what's going on, nor can I remember what I was thinking as I typed my last post, let alone the beginning of this one...
4)are you sure some kids didn't just do that like 100 years ago?
5)I still think it looks like a submarine
6)did the turtle lose an arm? or is that rock in the background just a little baby turtle?
7)Im making an assumption here.... but let's say that Native Americans did put this together (which im sure they did if you say so, im just being annoying), how would they know what a turtle even looks like? I'm sure there are no turtles in the forests of central canada... it MUST be a submarine

    e. yes they could have been moved, probably in the late 70's due to Ozzy Osbourne and beer

    f. they are fixed and a spiritual guide put them back together as he saw fit

    g. you dont have to see what I see, use your own intuition

i see what could be a very skinney turtle. humans have been in north america for at least ten THOUSAND years. though we may well have been brought here to all the different places each culture believes their creator spirits to have brought us to.

or we could have all migrated from auldivoi starting about twenty THOUSAND years ago.

500 bce/2500 bpd is only .5 of the smaller number.

of course i see no difference between desicrating an ancient site as burning a physical temple or churce of any belief.

and nothing wrong with communing respectfully with the spirituality there either.

    love the picture.

me like pictures with lots of green vegitation and few or no, and not featured, humans.

i like mitten kitten's too. although i must ask because i'm not certain: is that monte python or black adder? (or something other then either of them. the quote sounds like holy grail).

This is what we like to call our "Trans-Canada-Highway". We've been trying to petition for them to dig a tunnel beneath it, so that turtles/moose/pidgeons/etc. of rock-like physique may pass without disrupting the flow of traffic, though our communist government is too busy trying to build up a military. They say they want to invade a new land called "USA". Wonder where that is....
