zolpidem and staying awake (and tripping)

OK this is the second time I post something about this, but my ongoing Stilnox prescription is giving me the strangest experiences.

First of, I stay awake at least an hour on it. Maybe I shouldn't though, because that hour or what seems like an hour anyway is a total TRIP and sometimes it's fun sometimes it scary.

Last night, it was scary. My body was twitching. My bed was shaking. My posters came to life. I was freaked out by John Lennon holding a rose... he seemed to be... blowing it to me... like his face was swelling and it looked like he was seriously blowing the rose to me, and it got so close to my face I was reaching out to get it. I also surprised myself talking to him and the other pictures in my room like a skyzo... thank god I was alone last night.

I took a picture of my eyes... with my broken cell phone so I can't post it... but I basically looked like I was tripping on acid. Pupils HUGE.

I looked like a monster in the mirror... made out of rubber and with a million beauty marks... or freckles...

Music is the most annoying thing to listen to.

So I was wondering if I was normal. I read somewhere that if you force yourself to stay awake (which is hard) on zolpidem (Ambien, Stilnox) you trip and it's a little bit like acid a little bit dxm... dxm is only closed-eye in my experience, here it's open-eye and sensations too... but not as intense as acid. It's weird... it's fun but sometimes distracting cause it makes you wanna go to sleep but you can't when tripping... maybe my dosage is too high? So yeah am I the only one who has those crazy trips?

 

How much Zolpidem are you taking? If your taking above 20mg's at a time expect to hallucinate.

 

nah just 10mg.. wow I guess I have serious low tolerance to that drug then.. just 1 pill!

 

yeah zolpidem is a crazy ass drug when u stay awake on it and take 20mgs or more at a time....its weird cuz I used to really like taking it but now i don't really like the way ti makes me feel, oh well ill stick to my other scripts of hydrocodone and tramadol

 

I don't like pain killers. They're not mind-expending. I have a ton of opium-morphine based shit from France though from when I had mono complications but pk make me mean for some reason.

 

actually, on the long run they make everyone mean... so I've seen anyway...

 

yeah normal , zolpidem make you hallucinate when still awake ( or when mix with alcool , or in high dosage) , but totaly diferent from a mushroom/lsd hallucination , for me , i m feel i m "crazy/dumb" when hallucinate on zolpidem .
