broke kid's new habitation

ok folks, as many of you may know, i just moved into my new place and have been feeling kinda bummed about having no furniture except a few coffee and end tables and shit plus a few electronics...no bed, no couch, no chairs. well, i decided to quit moping around and feeling bad about it and make the place more livable. today i unpacked almost all the rest of my boxes and did some laundry, and generally tidied the place up a bit. i organized my tables and got the place essentially taken care of. still, ornamentation has yet to be hung on the walls, and a futon or sleeper couch will eventually be put in the living room.

that said, i'm feeling better about the place today.

there are four main rooms in the apartment, plus a utility closet/laundry room. the bathroom (pretty big, one of the main rooms of the place) and the laundry room are not depicted in this.

sorry for the shitty picture quality, i just have my old camera phone, no digital camera or anything like that. i worked with what i had.

here is my den, where i smoke (tobacco), keep my computer, and a shitty old tv with my only vcr built into it, and my old nintendo 64 system and a few games:

indeed. i love the peace and quiet and the space to spread out! i'm gonna save up for a futon so i can sit on something in the living room, but the bed....i dont care, i like it on the floor and am not too anxious to switch. though if i had a futon i might also sleep on that at night sometimes.

 

looks nice man, have you checked craigs list out for some furniture

 

not yet. i'm really not too worried, now that its at least livable. honestly i'm thinking of just making a makeshift couch for the time being...a little creativity can go a long way

 

btw - in the first pic of my "den" you'll notice something blue in the bottom lefthand corner....yep, you guessed it, its heckel and jeckel on VHS motherfuckers!

 

n64 rocks, espeically goldeneye and mario kart. i'd rather play n64 than xbox

 

i really wish i had mario kart...i do have goldeneye and perfect dark, though

 

love heckle and jeckel. i have it on VHS too!

and i'd kill for an n64. i have the origional nintendo with duck hunt. i love huntin them ducks.

 

duck hunt is a way of life...

 

i love duck hunt, as well as the mode where you're shooting clay pigeons instead.

i just was always pissed that i couldnt shoot that damn dog.

 

i like the clay shooting too! it's all just so much fun.
i can't wait to play tonight

then maybe i'll doctor mario... or super mario bros 3.

or, or, i got some 52 in one. or ninja turtles.
fuck i love my nintendo.

 

i got the old school super nintendo and n64
sadly no controllers for the n64 though
i have some good games too
oh well thers always emulators

 

ohhhhhhhh yeah...i need to get dem shits for nes on my computer....

used to have a lot....all the marios, contra, a bunch of stuff

 

same i used to have all the emus and about 1000 games
but my comp got rebooted and i lost it all
and since ive been downloading more recent games like original splinter cell and rainbow six via torrents
but as always im inspired to go get some emus

 

bout to go use the community grill haha....

got some bamboo skewers runnin through some chicken, grape tomatoes, red onion bits, bits of orange bell pepper, salted, peppered, paprikad, dusted with chili powder and the meat marinated in italian dressing

got five skewers with meat, two just with veggies....

gotta be the shit
