Yeah apparently something only becomes a drug after its arbitrarily been made illegal. If the op's question meant to include all drugs including caffeine and pharmaceuticals, I think the actual numbers would be over 95%. I have a feeling though she was just talking about things like weed and coke, but its just become irritating how separated everything is in peoples minds. It was like the time this dude came up to the blunt circle falling down drunk holding a beer, talking about how he doesnt use drugs. Or the people who snort their ADHD medicine, take antidepressants and anxiety meds, but don't do drugs. The whole concept of drugs AND alcohol. Why not just drugs, with alcohol included? Oh yeah I forgot, the alcohol industry pays politicians thousands upon thousands to make us think its not a "drug".
yeah, as silly and arbitrary i consider the drug laws to be, we all know what is meant by "do you use drugs?" in this society.
I dont do drugs , i have never gotten into them....i seen what they did to too many friends to be THAT stupid
I don't do drugs... I'm high on life, sadly the effects of too much life involve: depression, stress, boredom.... I'd be better off with drugs.
Yes I do drugs: Coffee, alcohol, and Ventolin (that's my asthma medicine, which I take before physically strenuous activities).
i only take drugs to relieve cold and flu symptoms when they are unbearable or if i have to perform and i feel like shite. my boyfriend doesn't take cold and flu medicine cos then he doesn't know how sick he is and he might over exert himself accidentally. ive sort of taken on this mantra as well. no coffee or caffeine and i only rarely drink alcohol cos i grew up hating seeing the effect of alcohol on my parents i don't like interefering with my brains chemicals. im already a happy person so i don't want to fuck with that.
this is certainly true, though perhapse not all obsessions empare judgement. and then again maybe they do. if so i'm certainly not innocent of NONchemical ones. little people sized trains winding their way through forests full of little furry creatures are one of mine. and stopping every tenth of a mile or so, where there is a cluster of gardens, each surrounding a very little and completely odd shaped and unique house, far enough from each other to be out of sight and out of each other's mind, and especially hearing. =^^= .../\... for w.j.: my understanding of THIS use of the word "drugs", from context, is: any recreationally consumed neurotropic substance. this generally tends to include alcohaul, but not roast beef. =^^= .../\...
If roast beef were a drug, I'd totally be on the steet stabbing people for eef money. "I'm in so much pain!"
