I may sound like a complete whimp for this, but I want to share my latest experience with Adderall (at the same time occupying my racing mind a bit). Around 7:30 p.m. last night I decided to pop 30 mg. I've taken Adderall countless times before, and really just expected a long night due to insomnia along with a bit of help concentrating on my art project. An hour in, and I wasn't feeling any of the effects. I was talking to my mom in the kitchen around 9:30, when I felt that comfortable tingling making it's way around my body. I soon found myself to be very talkative, and I felt like I could do just about anything. I expected all of that. What came as a surprise to me was the (now) ten hours of tachycardia. My pulse has been at 160 and hasn't slowed down in the slightest. I felt a bit sleepy around 3 a.m. and decided to lay down, but all I could concentrate on was the pulsating feeling that was too strong for me to ignore. My heart was pumping for a marathon while my body wasn't moving. I first thought that maybe I was just being paranoid which caused my pulse to start racing, but after thinking about this for a good hour, I came to the conclusion that I don't feel anxious or frightened at any of this. At this point I'm not entirely sure what to do other than to wait it out. Sleeping is out of the question, though I am exhausted. I'll keep you guys posted on how this all turns out. I'm really curious to see what I do next. Lesson learned though, 30 mg just isn't for me.
sounds like a normal adderall experience to me you probably are just thinking about it too much and will be just fine. wat dose do u normally take if you usually take less then you probably just had too intense of an experience. i wouldnt worry unless u start having chest pains or something. compared to most stimulants adderall is actually pretty safe and ive taken dosages in excess of 120 mg of course everybody is different. i would stick with 20 mg from now on
i say fuck adderall and go for the good prescription pills like opiates or benzos : ) lol if u can't tell i hate STIMULANTS!
I've never liked stimulants and I've only used Adderall to study. Lol. As for the dose, I definitely took too much. Never again :] Anyway... my heart rate came back down around one p.m.
Yup...stims suck for recreational purposes. Even coke IMO Addies are a LIFESAVER in college. Quite widespread if my experience serves me correct. Ide rather drink a cup of coffee though. I dont like feeling strung out on anything. At least with coke i know that I got high, so i feel like there was some sort of payoff; regardless how petty it was in the long run.
Haha if I have a paper due or a test to study for I hit up starbucks and if thast not enough I eat some adderall or snort some ritalin. It's good for studying but shit for recreation.
I'm on three 40mg adderalls...i'm wicked sleepy like and i'm wicked hot. i kinda like the high though. and i got my homework done with A effort :]
I got them for free from a friend and she told me that each was 40 mgs. They were small white capsules. And I concluded that I actually didn't like the high after all. It was weird...I got all hot and sweaty and tired too. To me, that's not fun. I was hoping to get wicked speedy but I didn't. :[
The comedown is always way worse than the high. That really they only reason they suck for recreation, I usual get talkative and real social on them but during the comedown every one looks ugly, and irritate me.
I just did 30mg of adderall for the first time in a while because I needed to work on a paper. When I was a kid, I don't remember the experience being this awful. The first five hours or so were amazing, but after that I started feeling nauseated, my heart was racing unhealthily, and I was sweating too much. It's been about 26 hours since I took it (and 36 hours since I've slept) and I'm still feeling awful. I'm never doing it again.
I got 4 30mg adderalls, I'm probaly going to take two before school and then two before a party tonight. gonna be fun...i hope.
