Ugh... Normally I lose weight over the summer but this time I gained weight!?!?! I need to lose 20 pounds quick... does anybody have any suggestions??
yep. no quick fixes or magic pills. its easy to pile on but hard to take off. hell, this past week i've gained 5 lbs.
You need to start eating right and exercising... Try doing some cardio activities like bike riding and running.. that will definitely help you lose the weight... for some good tips you could check out http://www.findyourdetour.com/ ... good luck
Just to emphasize what everyone else says, there really isn't a quick and easy way to lose weight that will be healthy. Exercise and moderate caloric restriction is key. You can lose weight fast, but you can hurt yourself by doing that too. What kind of time frame do you want to lose the weight in? Do you have an exercise routine you follow? What is your diet like now, overall and in terms of caloric intake?
take adderall, sell your car, and move downtown. You'll end up walking a lot. I'd rather be thin than famous
wu long tea, believe me its the best, it helped me loose like 20 pounds in like a month, just drink one glass in the morning and one glass in the night and youle be fine, try that and try caribbean noni this helps a lot with the metabolism, ime from south america so i know this stuff, this stuff is all natural so you dont have to worry it all comes from plants so vegans like me can enjoy the benefits.
You know I could sit here and suggest whats helped me but really its true there is no real quick fix. Unless like me I drank way to much soda. I cut that out of my diet and dropped alot of weight. That is a common thing. I think most of the time people just eat something or drink something to much which in reality if you cut it out and do some kind of activity daily you'll be on your way. Do your activity atleast 3 times a week. Find something you like to do, not something you'll feel like your forcing yourself to do. Set a goal, and really go into detail with it. It'll help you focus. You really have to want to do it, and you really have to be committed to it. Sometimes a diet isn't a diet, its a life change.
OK well I was hoping to lose 20 pounds in about 2 months because my sister is getting married and I want to look good in my dress... I've been dieting and eating healthy but it's the exercising that i'm having trouble with... i'm not really sure where to start... Any tips?
Make sure when you work out to wear really good shoes and invest in some orthotics (you can buy them over the counter) to avoid getting shin splints and things like that. Be sure to do a warm up before working out and stretch both during and after. When you exert your muscles they make lactic acid which causes that "burning sensation," and stretching releases the lactic acid so you don't get as sore. If you are not very active and out of shape, I suggest starting with walking. If you start running now you'll get really sore and discouraged and quit. I would start with a half hour walk in the morning to get started for a week or two, and build it up over the next few weeks until you're doing an hour of walking. Walking is nice because you burn a good amount of calories and still have energy left over to do more calorie-burning activities throughout the day, unlike running which can sap all of your energy. I've lost a lot of weight just from walking and some strength training, but it has taken time. Also, when I talk about walking, I'm not talking slow walking, I'm talking fast, briskly-paced walking.
The walking/jogging/running routine outlined above is a great idea. Pretty much any cardiovascular exercise would be wonderful--if you do more activity than you are doing now, while not eating any more, you will start to lose body fat. Biking, swimming, dancing, all good. Just use moderation as you start so you don't hurt yourself. In addition to the cardio, I'd also recommend throwing in a little bit of weight lifting. This will help preserve and increase your lean body mass, increasing your basal metabolic rate. Some light weight-lifting (say, 3x a week for 30 min), some light cardio, and eating a healthy diet low in refined carbohydrates combines for an excellent recipe for losing body fat. Just take your time, listen to your body, and don't push yourself if you ever feel over-exhausted, light-headed, or sick. 20 lbs is a little ambitious for a two month period. Depending on your height and weight right now, I think that 10-15 lbs in a two month period is doable. Remember, if you really start exercising, the scale may not drop as much as you'd like it to, because lean body mass weighs more than fat. It's more about how you feel and how you fit into your older clothes than what you weigh. Good luck!
Alright . So i'm in the same boat as the OP. 2 years ago i got hit by a car and the results of the accident led me to have worse off knees hurt back whiplash etc. than i already have , i gained about 30 lbs and i am not sure what i'm doing wrong but my hubby and i eat healthy and walk and i walk around the college and i started the yoga booty ballet series . I do pilates once in awhile when i'm not doing my assignments . I am often very tired and i eat very little. Also i am allergic to so much that i'm not sure what to substitute for what i'm allergic too ( if that makes sense) , I am going to be working out at the college gym starting on Tues after thanksgiving , But does anybody have any tips? thx. Teri
I have personally found raw organic food and the teachings of David Wolfe to be extremely helpful in losing weight and really sticking to a healthy diet, as opposed to a quick fix that is not really sustainable...and he actually just released a new weight loss program you can look at here - http://www.1shoppingcart.com/app/?af=650623
Thank you very much . Have you ever experienced any help or loss of weight thru the readings or guidance of this man? My problem, is always having time and keeping on track. I need to go on the Biggest loser . or exweighted . roflmfao. jk i know i'll get there some day . But it just puts me down some days .
A quick and sure way to lose weight is with the Lemonade Diet. It was created as a method to heal through detoxification. Beyonce lost 20 pounds in 10 days with it. Afterwards eat differently so you do not gain the weight back. With it your body can dump excess salt that your body has from too much in diet. Then your body can dump all that excess water that it is holding on to.
most of all exercise. forget about salt, sugar and bread. eat more vegetables and you can eat meat if you want, but without fats. i think thats an easy and a normal, stable way of looking good.
