how many times have u lot foned in for a day off? or had a sickie in the last year?

LOL i've foned in2 work atleast 10 times this year (including today!), not to mention 9 weeks off thru may, june and a bit of july bcos i went to the doc's for a 'sick note' lol i'm suprised they havent fired me.

I called in sick today just so i could smoke

 

i havent called in sick in a long time

i know i have once or twice legitimately in the past year or two, but i can't remember when or for what.

i DO know i was out for a few days on account of getting my wisdom teeth out. apart from that, i really can't remember.

 

i really can't call in sick without a really good excuse. they'd be seriously fucked; i'd probably be fired

 

Haven't called in sick for about 3 years now.

 

I haven't called in sick since probably last winter when i had the flu.. other than that im always at work.. and well now.. i can't afford to be sick.. so i just deal with everything

 

well i was ill a week ago but i still went college. i made too many mistakes at school, and ive learned from them- only way for me to get a distinction and really really good reccomendations is to attend and do better than everyon else.

I'm the only person who works at my job now so if I call in sick that means my manager would have to work on top of after already working a full 40 hour week. And for my internship if I call in sick I royally fuck over myself, my grade, my kids.

SOoooo yeah, I don't call in unless I'm in a hospital or dead.

As for calling in sick....I've only called in sick once for my current job, but I really was sick, and I still am sick, but I still go to work everyday, now that I got used to being sick. haha

I did leave 8 hours early this past friday though, because I was getting kicked out of my house and had to find a place to stay.
