I'm thinking about heading to Kamloops but I've never been and was curious what the scene is like. Is it hippy friendly? is it a crime ridden dump? whats the score?
    Thanks!

Kamloops is pretty good. There's lots of nice people around, don't think you'll be bashed to much for hippyness...There are weekly drum jams with fire spinning and whatnot. I feel like there is a fair bit of crime there, but I feel like that's just sometimes the case...Lunatic_on_the_grass lives there and she is my most lovley best friend in the whole world- so I like it there of course. It's super pretty too, reminds me of desert montains. It has this sweet dry heat in the summer, and some areas have fruit trees, which I find really exciting. I feel like Kalowna is also really nice and near by. Why are you thinking of moving there? where are you from now?

I'm from the Yukon originally, so desert mountains sound delicious. I'm in Nelson now. This place is crazy awsome, but hard to find work in.
I spin poi and drum, so that sounds awsome.
What kind of crime? like violence? drugs? theft? Whitehorse, my old hometown, is a ghetto warzone, so I can probably handle it. Of course, I'd rather avoid that kind of scene again.

I'm sure it would be lovley, you should message lunatic_on_the_grass and ask her about it cause she lives there and could give you more information methinks. I like it there though, it's pretty.
