Britney Spears Loses custody of her kids

LOS ANGELES -- Britney' continuing her downward spiral took a devastating turn Monday when she was ordered to relinquish custody of her children by a judge who had cited her drug-and-alcohol-fueled lifestyle.

Superior Court Judge Scott M. Gordon ruled that that ex-husband Kevin-Federline will take Sean Preston, 2, and Jayden James, 1, beginning Wednesday "until further order of the court."

The order stemmed from an unspecified oral motion made by Federline's lawyers and was handled in a closed-door hearing. The judge's order did not state the reason for the change in custody and he ordered all transcripts of the proceedings sealed.

Phone messages left for representatives of Spears and Federline were not immediately returned Monday.

Last month, Gordon said Spears engaged in "habitual, frequent and continuous use of controlled substances and alcohol" and ordered her to undergo random drug and alcohol testing twice a week as part of her ongoing custody dispute with Federline.

Spears also was previously ordered to meet weekly with a "parenting coach" who was to observe and report back to the court about her parenting skills. Both Spears and Federline must complete the court's "Parenting Without Conflict" class.

Spears, 25, and Federline, 29, were married in October 2004. She filed for divorce last November and it became official in July. The two have joint custody of their sons, but Federline is seeking a greater share of custody.

Since Spears became single, her troubles have played out in the tabloids.

i feel so sorry for those kids. Brittney needs to be locked up in a psych ward. K-Fed is not exactly a model father, yet he makes brittney look even more white trash than him which is a feat in itself.
Brittney spears is a pathetic and seemingly pretty stupid young girl. she always seemed kinda dumb even when she was popular.

I don't think either one of them should have custody. KFed only wanted them to get back at Britney, he'll lose interest soon and we'll see it back in the courts.

 

i got nothin but sympathy for the whole fuckin family. could you imagine having every infinitissimal detail of your life, breakup, and fall played out on every goddamn tv and trashy tabloid? it would be horrible. i feel sorry for the kids too... parents with major issues and their childhood splayed across the idiot box

haha...good point. but maybe they're lucky and have a traveling nanny that gets passed back and forth between the parents with the kids.

on a side note, i wish to god i didn't know who britney spears is. i don't even have cable tv and i still know about this!

poor britney, she wasn't raised to live, she was raised for handlers and profit. she never stood a chance.

 

with the lifestyle this country girl that wanted to be a big star has grown into, she is doomed for life anyways, if she has water weight cus of womanly issues, pics are taken, and britneys getting fat or shes hiding a pregancy. she walked barefoot into public truck stop bathrooms and got so many pictures, there more pictures that i have of my family!!! seriously. that just makes her more and more crazy.

really what is the deal with federline? did he ever really love her? or just wanted her for her money, soon as they said " i do " hes all trying to make an album. and hes a sperm machine, and she didnt even want to be pregnant at least for sure on the second. i bet he wanted to ruin her career. if so, he did good.

but why would he want to take the kids? show that shes a bad mom and doesnt even have star respect anymore, might as well take out being a good human being??? hmmmmm. i really small consiracy!!! but thats my idea, who really fucking knows? the ppl that wont talk!!!

As much as I feel sorry for her I am reminded of a truth given to me a couple years ago by a co-worker... nothing just happens to a person... in one way or another they bring most of their shit onto themselves. It just seems to snowball more with some people.

She has made choices and is reaping the rewards of those choices.

maybe that's why she was walking barefoot in the truck stop bathroom. she couldn't figure out how to put her own shoes on and would rather be seen as repulsive than utterly stupid and helpless.

it would really suck to have all of your worst experiences exposed in the world, we all make mistakes, she makes one - and its judgement day for her everytime. and even looking like shit and dressed in crappy clothes trying to live a life outside. someone catches her and she get her pics taken and shes known as horribly dressed skank..


unless thats how she normally would dress, then she is. she really is trashy though, so i dont know,,,, with all that money, knowing my pic would be taken if i go out, i would pull a fucking paris hilton and always be dressed up and posing. the hilton has one thing that she LEARNED.

um,,, to be honest, i think she doesnt have to start a trend, i know its mean, but really she can be all dolled up and sexy and have someone do her make up and teach her to dance sexy, but she will still come home and be the skanky grungy girl she is, and sadly ate up, ever catch a glimpse of her reality show, it almost made me cry.
