maybe it would just be better if america just launched an all out attack on all other countries in the world? it is only a matter of baby steps and time before all countries will be subject to their bombs. by attacking all other countries you can simplify the process, all those who aren't america will more or less be reduced to ash except of israel of course. knowing this the iranians et al have no intention of letting themselves be weakened by un "negotiations" before a blitzkrieg action is unleashed on them. i have read that if czechoslovakia has resisted hitler instead of caving into his demands then hitler would have failed, the czechs were actually in hindsight quite well equipped to resist an invasion.

the problem of a policy of appeasement of war mongers is that the longer you let them get their own way the worse they get. unfortunately given the events unfolding in the invasion of the middle east the policy of appeasement with america that is the longer middle eastern nation simply lie back and allow america destroy sovereign states the worse things will get..

the great thing with history is that it more or less repeats itself. you couldn't negotiate with the nazis any more than you could negotiate with the americans, anyone with an ounce of common sense could tell you that. anyone who willingly gives up defensive weapons to save civillian casualties needs their brains tested if you are fighting a war with an enemy that can't be negotiated with.

the world faces the same dilemma as 1939. world war three coming right up. i bet the evangelicals are rubbing their hands in glee after all then you have judgement day and everyone lives happily ever after.

Yeehaw, when you're 40, 50, 60 or 70 and can't sleep for all the people you killed, I hope yeehaw buys it for you then. I hope your hero status bought you the pretty wife that understands your nightmares and doesn't ditch you after a year or two, the boss that understands your lack of focus, medical insurance that doesn't discount your complaints. Yeehaw!

He's brainwashed. There is no point in trying to argue with him. If he wants to be a mercenary and fight for the globalist agenda, then let him. All I know is that I couldn't care less when he comes home missing an arm or a leg... or both. That's the only thing that can wake some people up whose version of reality is based around video games and John Wayne movies.

Dude, you've been spouting off the same exact shit since I came here over 3 years ago.... if anybody is brainwashed, its you. Why don't you go form an opinion of your own and get back to me.

Guess you were talking to Rat, I don't think you stand a chance competing with him. Hope you live long enough to have the freedom of taking a nap, I enjoy mine.

Seems to me tank officers get lots of free time to post on internet boards. Wouldn't you rather be emailing your family and friends?

Maybe you could tell us why you want so badly to go to Iraq? Maybe you could logically justify this war? Maybe you could defend this administration's murder of millions of people? Maybe you could tell us why you're so proud to be a potential murderer like them?

You think you have your own opinion? You think you haven't been brainwashed? You are not an individual in the eyes of the government; you are just a number. You are one of many young men and women of whom the government could care less if you came back to this country alive. Watch.

I have respect for many of our men and women who are in the military. But I have no respect for you. If your war philosophy is "Yeehaw", you just wait. Just wait and see what you've gotten yourself into when you get to Iraq. I bet you won't be yelling Yeehaw when the government doesn't deliver its promises to you-- when you don't receive adequate pay, healthcare, or education. When you realize that you're just a pawn in a victory that doesn't involve you.

This isn't a fucking videogame. This is human life. And you're shitting all over it.

I hope you take care of yourself while you're abroad. But I also hope you'll soon realize the horror in which your participating, and wake up from whatever fantasy you've been living.

I'd also like to add that my brother-in-law devoted himself to the US army for five years.

He hasn't received a penny for education.
    He isn't getting healthcare coverage.
He is permanently tormented by nightmares and flashbacks of the horrendous things he experienced in Iraq.
He is on medication and sees a psychiatrist.
All of the money that he was promised is non-existent. He has received letters for two years that tell him he'll receive money soon, but it's yet to arrive.

    Enjoy your new life.

Don't ever join the military on the promise of money or benefits, unless you know how to work the system, because the odds are weighed against you ever receiving them.

Heard on the news last night that the US has changed it's target sites in Iran, which means this is something that is going to happen. How sad.

Passing the Kyl-Lieberman amendment appears to have made this a fait accompli. All you people that voted Lieberman back into office after his party discounted him, and the republicans backed him should be proud.

The report said that instead of focusing on nuclear development sites, they were now targeting sites related to the arms movement, closer to the Iraqi border.

And so America marches down the path of self destruction. China and Russia are thrilled to watch us do it. We have become the evil power in the world. We invade those who do not threaten us, we bluster and bully our allies, welcome to the Fourth Reich. Heil Bush!

That's what I am afraid of.

The Kyl-Lieberman amendment gave Bush the permission he needed.

Next we will round up dissidents and Muslims, they will become our scapegoats. Elections will be won on the promises of "ridding ourselves of this threat". Nationalism and patriotism will rule. More and more of our rights will disappear "for the greater good". Our troops will be spread too thin to provide proper defense. Then other world powers will invade. After all, it is in the worlds best interest to rid itself of evil empires. When the US launches its first nuclear weapon, the world will unite against us.
America will be stripped of its powers, divided up to keep its people from becoming too powerful again. Took us a little over two hundred years, but we are finally screwing up beyond repair.

    Unless we stop this now!

Hopefully it will never come to another nuclear attack, but I don't think GW is above using whatever he has at hand. Global warming, I think we have more important short term things to worry about.

When you go out into the world to spread democracy, you don't do it with the promise that torture is allowed, or it may come under speculation that your motivations aren't all that pure.

Didn't GW's marketers see those questions coming? How much is he paying them?
