why do people say that?

i was at the shelter today, not feeling great, and this lady i know came up and said how are you. i said ok, since i figured it was just small talk, and she probably didn't really want to know how i was. she looked at me real serious like, and said "hmm...you don't look so good".

why do people do that? it's almost certain to make you feel worse if you are sick, or having a bad day for someone to come up and essentially tell you that you look like hell.

 

not as bad as someone telling you to "SMILE!"


or asking whats wrong when you just aren't talking for a few minutes

 

Or if someone says "It looks like someone has a case of the Mondays!"

 

like in office space, a person would deserve a prank on them for saying that

 

in my opinion a lot of people just dont know how to talk to people or maybe its a lack of communication,mean people suck!well........keep your head high and look forward to making a better tomorrow

it sucks when people remind you you feel like crap

 

my sister does this to everyone incessantly.

 

Better than having someone say, "You look like how I feel!"

I hate hate hate it when people tell you to SMILE! Grrrrrrr.
