In California and around here i have seen plenty of kids speeding by in suped up japanese cars going way too fast down a busy highway I don't approve of that at all
Actually canada overall is much more strict but cali can fuck you on about anything they see fit. But I do have friends on the net in cali who have nice older cars and they dont get fucked with near as much. Right or wrong I do play on the back roads in the sticks or my own 800 or so foot driveway but the track is best as its a preped surface. For the Hater, you must of been thinking of a car like this. A daily driver 440 magnum auto car, mild cam, intake, carb....easy to drive as my neon. Never get stopped in this (yet) stripe even changes color. I built this car to maybe run in the hot rod power tour or somthing of the sort.
These are on the fast car, not the one above. Yes I have so many cars its fucked up, I refer to them as 1,2,3,4,....its the only way, keep ne notebook for each car project. 30 or so hours of porting, polishing, blending but keeping in the .950 pushrod tube clearence, flowed and cleand up....... Now shall we talk mopars....Ive a few older ones?
That be a closed chamber al. cylinder head with some port work done to them. Ya know those pesky things people bitch about when they blow a head gasket, they usually have to replace or resurface the head, similar but not the same as these.
heheheheheheh. i'm not allowed to handle anything that requires more than a AA battery. for good reason. what's a head gasket?
Fuck yeah so theres a car person on here, what up bro. Yeah you could def smoke whatever I have and no Im not in chevy land haha. Althogh I was a chevy tech for four years. But I have built a couple mustangs and might have even been somewhat notorious on the street back when i was 18-21. Kc you're right I don't do it anymore but street racing really makes you feel alive! especially running from the cops. We used to meet up every fri and sat night at spots in va, dc, and md. Reckless yeah, but we never ran in traffic like the kids with the slow imports do. Hey so is that an aspen? Thats hilarious you were driving a spooled car on the street haha. Do those subframe connectors go through the floorpan or just weld onto the subframes? Mustangs flex so much I always wanted to do the through floor connectors. That car is sick though. Domestics are cool as fuck but Im more into european cars now. Im working on a 93 e36 bmw coupe, and when I have money to build the motor I might even do the ls1 swap. It fits in perfectly with the t56 gearbox and the m3 diff can hold whatever, its crazy. And the car is perfectly balanced, better than porsches and vettes. Thats my goal is to be able to creep on whatever and be streetable. So I'll probably do a stout n/a ls1 because with a decent heads, cam, and intake combo they can put down 650 easy. And do turbo if Im crazy. The other option is a built m3 engine with a big turbo and lots of boost. Heres a couple vids with the ls1 swap http://youtube.com/watch?v=MsxhmMQBjmI http://youtube.com/watch?v=RVZ0duq5Bh8 And heres a turbo m3 raping a ferrari, but mine would be faster http://youtube.com/watch?v=9GWOC-HnMy0
The pic of the chassis work is the silver aspen, it connects the front to rear and also hits 2 points of the 8 point cage so its very solid. They are both aspens the silver a 77 the crazy paint one a 78 sc aspen. I have a small twin turbo v8 motor in the works andmight work out well. This pic was two nights ago, I did a rip down/inspection after two very hard runs, all looked good. Used 10 cans of carb cleaner to clean it up, replaced the helllfire n20 rings with a fresh set and wider gap and I have the shortblock back together and should have it in the car tomorrow. Have you ever seen a factory 4 bolt mopar block?
I helped a friend put a stock 318 into a 79 aspen when we were 16. It was so cold that day too, hands froze within seconds. Those main caps in the background are fuckin beefy. and using studs too, man that must be a pretty strong bottom end. I worked at a dodge dealership for about 6 months but never got into mopar so I dont know shit about them. Are the decks o-ringed for the nitrous or do you not have a problem with head gaskets? what size are the valves in that thing?
DARE I hope that we've seen the beginning of a BFF relationship? is it inappropriate to discuss BFF's in a mechanical-type discussion? because i find this VERY moving.
hahaha i've seen that movie stoned a few times i think. 80s flicks are the shit right. and kc i dont have bff's im a solo cat. and i spend all my money on drugs so my project is delayed,
