I never used to get red eyes that bad, compared to my friends at least. We'd be smoking some dank dank shit and their eyes would be FUCKED, and mine about a 4 on a scale of 1-10. Theirs are about a 15 on a scale of 1-10 usually. But lately... Even with commercial stuff, my eyes will go uber red and glazed in just 2 small hits. Every single time latetly. And what's worse is visine won't even help the red away, it just makes it worse. So what's goin on guys? Anyone have the same problem? any suggestions on what i should do about this?
Try a different brand of eye drops. Try Opcon-A or something else that is specifically made for red eyes.
Yeah that bausch and lombe stuff is the shit. And I dont know man, are people cropping something different around there? Different smoking method?
rhoto's (eyedrops)- are very good for that they burn ur eyes like hell for about 5 sec. then they are clear if that dosent work try a cool wet wash cloth over ur eyes peace and good luck man
have you been using eye drops all the time? i dunno, my optometrist says that they're "addictive" not that in you crave them or anything, but that if you use them often enough your body gets used to them and starts needing them for your eyes to NOT be red - that if you use them constantly, and then stop, your eyes will be redder than they normally are naturally. i dunno....usually when i smoke and dont use drops, my eyes dont get that red. i only use drops usually if i'm going in to work and am high enough that i think i might need a little backup....i dont want to cause myself trouble i dont need. but in highschool i used to smoke all the time and work or be at school or around parents all the time, and a large portion of the time i was spending a good amount of money on ozium and visine/clear eyes the products work well....but eventually i used them so many times a day everyday for so long that if i went without using eyedrops, sometimes my eyes would get itchy and red even if i wasnt smoking at all....and then there were the few times i snuck out at lunch and smoked and went back to school but had been caught without visine and no time or money to stop and get some....and my eyes were fucked...as red as a red tshirt or an apple or a firetruck....like SOLID RED....it was awful...luckily that year i had the coolest teacher right after lunch. he believed in me more than any other faculty member and challenged me more than almost any of the other students. he really did a lot for me and was the best teacher i ever had....but i feel bad for taking advantage of him and going into class stoned out of my gourd so often....but on the occasion that it happened, he'd leave me alone, not mention it, not call on me, just leave me be while i put my head down on the desk..... i hated when my eyes would get that red....now i try to avoid using eye drops unless i really need to, which luckily isnt often. i really dont know for a fact that eye drops can cause "dependence" and "withdrawl" but my optomitrist says it can and my experience would back that up....but i dunno...maybe other people find it to not be true.
nesta said it all basically... haha. personally, i use eyedrops almost every time i smoke because sometimes i can feel my eyes go all dry and uncomfortable and whatever, and they just feel so damn good. (I use Clear Eyes Redness Relief btw.) i guess it also depends on what you're smoking. i don't know how or why, but i find that my eyes only get red when i'm smoking a certain kind or whatever. with the bag i have now, my eyes barely get red, but the stuff i had last month left my eyes looking pretty scarily red.
I have this same issue. I really do think it depends on what you're smoking. For instance, this bag seems to more dilate the pupils, you don't really get any red. But my friend last night, after smoking the rest of his own stuff, had eyes as red as Mars.
Hmm... I don't think it was my imagination. It could have been though. Or maybe the lightning in our apartment. But all three of our pupils seemed to get pretty round (and mine seem to be again, after wake-n-bake)
Yes, I have most definately seen eyes dialate when high. Either VERY small, or VERY big. But some strains don't seem to change the size at all. And thank you all for your responces. I think it might be possible it's the weed, but it's been like about a month this has been happening and i've smoked all sorts of variaties of commercial, mids and dank, and every single time my eyes have gotten red. and as I said before I used to hardly ever get red eyes and if I did it was never that bad.
