So, my last batch of iron-on transfers on t-shirts was totally chewed up in the washer. Will simply turning them inside out in the wash (like the directions said, but I forgot to do) really solve this?
    Your input, please.
Also any ideas what I can do with two crumbly pictures of Alice Cooper and a ball of yarn.
    Sigh. It's a sad life.

It does help to turn them inside out. Keeps them from being rubbed against everything else in the wash. Especially the agitator, which eats clothes. ;)

For my really delicate shirts, I also put them in a mesh bag before washing. You can get them at most dollar stores.

You could use the pictures anyway and make them look intentional with some fabric paint or buttons...give them a deconstructed look.

Thanks, MK, I'll give it another go. That mesh bag sounds like just what I need.

    Teehee... love the sig!

Sir Lancelot: We were in the nick of time. You were in great peril.
    Sir Galahad: I don't think I was.
Sir Lancelot: Yes, you were. You were in terrible peril.
Sir Galahad: Look, let me go back in there and face the peril.
Sir Lancelot: No, it's too perilous.
Sir Galahad: Look, it's my duty as a knight to sample as much peril as I can.
Sir Lancelot: No, we've got to find the Holy Grail. Come on.
Sir Galahad: Oh, let me have just a little bit of peril?
    Sir Lancelot: No. It's unhealthy.
Sir Galahad: I bet you're gay.
    Sir Lancelot
    : Am not.
