    Moments
    I watch silently
    As you cry.
    Your tears reminding me
Of how our lives slipped by.
    Like grains of sand.
    Trickling through our fingers
    We tried to catch them,
    But nothing lingers.
The clouds float by in the sky
    Like another moment gone by.
    I cherish those moments,
    The good days
When we lived life to it's fullest.
    Look how much has changed.
Your tears are because of me.
    It's ok.
    Go ahead, cry freely...

    Snapshot
    I sort thru the memories
    Colored snapshots of my life
    Full of vivid intimacy
    And heart rending strife
    I stare at them fondly
Or hang my head and cry
    Truth resounding
    Among hidden lies
    I see all my choices
And what I did with them
    Echoing voices
    Once audible, now dimmed
    More the shame, life restrained
    Life is a picture book
    Memories of how you lived
What will you do with it
You make the choice, it's a gift....

    Fields of Summer
Fields of summer, fields of glass
All have come but now they pass
Hot is winter, cold is spring
Both bring death upon their wings

And I, I'm trapped within this burning breeze
Save, save me now I beg and plead

Our fates are tied like bands of gold
    Resting on the finger cold
    Come within, don't delay
    Share the crystal, love's display

And I, I'm trapped within this burning breeze
Say, say the words and feed my need

Fair maiden in the garden told
Spare the mary done and sold
    Spring brings flowers be assured
    Waste the moment not reserved

And I, I've found my place within these leaves
Love, love and peace spread the seed

Time is shadows, a breathless breeze
Life's small threads, around our knees
Bring the pipe, and bring the roll
    Let the Piper's stories unfold

And I, I've found my pace within these leaves
Love, love and peace spread the seed

    Her eyes are shadows
Her life it ebbs, kill the flowers
    She won't be led
Her heart it throbs, about to burst
Touch her now relieve the thirst

Hot is winter cold is spring
Our lives flash by, give them wings

This is a song in progress. I've actually been working on it for a few years hopefully it'll keep getting better as time goes on. Enjoy.

    Here Today
    Another day goes by
    Flowing away swiftly
    And time passes
    The apples turn from brown
    to deep black
The flowers wilt and rot away
    pondering what life could've been
    Into stoic decay
Man is like leaves in the wind
Like the fragrance of a crushed flower
    Here today gone tomorrow

    Beads
    Father's hand so calloused
    Tenderly holding mine
In those hands a single peace of twine
"Son", he said "life is like this twine
And these beads I hold in my hand
Are like the choices you make in it
    What colors will you choose?"

    Silence
    I love these glades
    The silent trees
    And the bird's sounds
    Upon the breeze
    The way the wind
    Carreses my hair
    And Nature's kisses
    Upon the air
Life and love in my heart
    A flower in my ear
    Freedom and true peace
    In Her tender care
