I wasn't sure to put this here or under trance...so I decided on here^^
I am trying to decide an instrament to learn. I need a hobby, something to put some heart into, rather then the love I have for you all*hugs all around*.

Anyway, just noticed there are a ton, ton of instraments to look at, and I want some suggestions on good trippy, something that I can space out to my own music while playing, and maybe some uncommon instraments. I want to play something not alot of people really just play, ya know. The staples today are drums, guitar, bass. Can be any kind of instrament:string, percussion, etc...
So, give me any suggestions, I'll look up what I hear and think about it. All help is grately appriciated.

Indeed. If the feeling is right, everything can be psychedelic!

The guitar can be one of the trippiest instruments you could ever learn to play. Experimenting with different pedals is just...sex! And if not electric, acoustic is always cool too!

If I had a couple thousand bucks lying around, I would totally buy a Hammond B-3 organ!

I'd totally go Piano. Learn to read music. Then you can play almost any instrument. I Started with a harmonica, went to electric organ, then banjo, Finally a 12 string guitar.

And the cool thing about the guitar is that once you know how to play one, you pretty much know how to play the other. It's like knowing two different instruments because their uses are so varied.

The saw. Besides it's inherent silliness, have you ever seriously heard a more trippy instrument? they sound like ghosts....
