Its been 37 years today since the legendary JANIS JOPLIN was found dead.
She is still missed and still loved across the world!

How can a woman who brought so much joy to so many people have been such a sad person at heart? Rest in peace, Janis, thank you so much for all the great music!

Sometimes those who bring the most happiness to the world, are the saddest inside....

 

She had such a wonderful gift, she shared it with the world for as long as she could.

We will always miss you Janis.

Yeah man, I miss this chick. My late brother Allen Cohen in many of our personal talks spoke frequently of Janis, as he hung with her alot in the early Haight and tripped with Her just as much. But Her pressures of life were bearing down on Her, as She really wanted to make it. She had trouble accepting just how good she really was.
Bless Her heart, Janis Joplin was a really cool and sweet chick, who just wanted to be loved and accepted, and craved a level of living that eluded her.
Give your loving memories to Her ya'll, she was worthy of every bit of them.
