    Hello everyone...
I have a 10 month old daughter and i am a first time mom...
anyway my lil girl will not wave, clap, blow kisses, she hasnt started walking even though shes been pulling up for months, she says no words that mean anything just that ramble thing babies do.... its starting to worry me... and everyone i encounter says well she should be doing this and this and that....
she climbs the chouch and stairs... she plays with toys... she chases the dog and the cat... she eats on her own...
is she on the right track or should i worry?

She sounds perfect to me! I have a baby that is 11-1/2 months. She will wave, clap, do some signs and give kisses. BUT, she is not even crawling yet. This is very different for me since my son was walking at 9 months. She rolls everywhere she wants to go, cannot pull up or even attempt it, or even mimic walking when I hold her fingers. She does not have any words yet either, but neither did my son at 1 yr and now at 4, I can't shut him up. She is just a lazy happy baby. I am not worried at all. I really think that kids do things in their own time and people don't need to scare you by saying she "should" be doing things. All babies are different!

10 months old is really young to be doing any of those things. My daughter is 2, and she still doesn't blow kisses! lol she just started waving when she was about 14 months old, and clapping when she was about 18 months. She started walking when she was about 13 months. When my daughter was 10 months old, she had just learned sit her self up from a laying down position.
Those people you encounted, just block them out :)
People always have something to say about something. Those milestone ages and all that are just guidelines. By the sounds of what you described, you daughter is completely and utterly normal!

Sounds normal. They don't need to do anything but babble until about 2 years, and that's when you really worry. Some kiddos skip crawlign all together and just walk. Some kiddos wait until right before they turn a year and do it all in a week. Every kiddo is different. Unless your moma instinct just goes nuts over this, don't worry. She sounds like a regular roly-poly baby girl.

If you've ever got time, find an AP-friendly baby/toddler momma group to attend, so you can set your won mind at ease seeing the different stages of development in similar aged kiddos. Sometimes, it's quite staggering, the difference between normal kids.

Alexis didn't start waving until recently. She only says 'Dada' and 'Mama' and sometimes she'll say 'Japper' which is what she calls my dad's pom. She'll say 'Baba'. Those are just the common baby names. She also didn't start walking until a week before her first birthday. She'd pull up and walk around the table, but not walk on her own. She won't blow kisses to save Mary. The only time she'll clap is if you say 'Patty Cake Patty Cake' and that's only two or three times.
    She's normal. Don't worry.
