From what I have read in this forum, uncut guys say they have a more sensitive glans because it is usually covered unless erect. I guess the only guys who really can report definitively are those who got circumcised after puberty, and can compare sensitivity before and after. If indeed an uncut glans is more sensitive, it would seem to be difficult to recapture that later in life once the foreskin is cut off in whole or in part. I have a "loose cut" circumcision, and find that my glans is as sensitive as it needs to be for a quality sex life. And an overly sensitive glans can lead to a premature ejaculation problem (see my thread in the "Sexual Health" forum in "Love and Sex").
LastC5 - the underside of the penis in the 'inverted V" of the glans, where the frenulum (the stringy thing) is located, is the most sensitive part of the penis, even more sensitive than the coronal ridge of the glans. I have some excess foreskin in that area from my "loose cut" circumcision which is very sensitive and which my girlfriend likes to play with with her tongue or fingers. It is "my trademark". It also moves back and forth on the shaft of my penis as it goes in and out, stretching the frenulum, and contributing to my arousal. Very few other guys have this feature, I think. Anyone else have it?
Ugh! Damn it, the word is GLANS, not gland! The head of the penis (and clitoris) is called a GLANS. That's spelled G-L-A-N-S. Why can't people get that one?
yes, it is very much the case and is the basis for why some men get started on foreskin restoration. The glans can be covered by using medical tape to pull the skin over the glans (or with a TLC cone or senslip) and after some time it does become more sensitive in that sensations mean something since the glans are not being stimulated 24/7 by clothing does it work, yes, it takes a long time to really see the effects though
Foreskin restoration in merely a cosmetic thing, though, as the part of the foreskin that is removed in circumcision sontains a gland which slowly releases a natural oil which keeps the glans moist & sensitive, and even after foreskin restoration, which is nothing more than a case of stretching the remaining skin, the gland that releases the oil no longer exists. After circumcision this oily protection no longer exists, leaving the glans to dry out & become desensitised to the touch - much like wearing an Extra Safe condom - without such latex protective covering is would be very uncomfortable for an uncircumcised man even to very gently touch the glans, especially when aroused without the assistance of lube. However, while wearing a condom such physical contact isn't a problem - this is how I imagine the difference of sensitivity between a circumcised & an uncircumcised man to be.
WRONG WRONG WRONG - at least in most cases in america the common circumcision method removes about half the inner skin and a good bit of outer skin, look at the scar and then the distance to the glans, that IS inner foreskin and it can be stretched to cover the entire glans again, so unless you got an overly ambitious doctor who removed more then he should you should still have a 1/2" or more of inner foreskin and frenulum I have restored and have most of my glans covered with inner foreskin now, I am still stretching to get it fully covered and the "oil" does still exist
