yea, i was nervous before too...but its helped to squat deeply... i'm deloading for a couple weeks to fix my problems...
i just spent like an hour watching and trying new flexibility and mobility exercise to fix my squat. a huge problem is my left glute - i cave in down to the left. so i need to bring that up to par. so not only with the deload, i'm gonna add in more single leg exercises that target my hammies and glutes
yea, i know i'm GM'ing now...thats just one of a host of problems. i'm glad though, that i see it and i have others viewing it to point more things out. though, i iwhs i had my camera up here sooner, to film before i pushed the weights up...but its good now, since i can go back and fix things up, get stronger in other areas and then ramp it up again - because i'm not hurt now, so its a good wake up call haha
yea, this is what, i think my 12th or 13th squat workout. i'm definitely stronger than i was when i began. so bringing down the weight will be nice and help be learn the technique better. i'm gonna be doing more mobility for my hips and getting the hip flexors looser...i'm so damn tight. i need to stretch my hammies out too. GMs are good. i'll be doing them. i do love glute-ham raises though. thats one area where i've gotten a lot stronger. but i need more activation with my left glute, so more glute bridges and such are do. and like you said, i need to stay tight. i just have to keep on practicing
i'll see if there is any boxes that are just below parallel down in the gym though, i've read that you can learn squat by progressing from a higher than paralell box down to a low box....so we'll see.
so...cf...when are you gonna post yours? i wouldn't mind watching that, it's educational...and stinkfoot, i REALLY think we all should view your technique, maybe they can help you with the bad knees and such.
