is by far the best strain ive smoked so far. I love the strong smell/taste to it. n the highs nice n powerful. Im starting to get it at an ok price providing I go a ways across the city. Tried Purple kush a while ago too but paid 70 bucks for the querter . usta be somewhat expensive up here. whats your guy's favorite strains/recommendations. I probably wont find them here anyways the kush strains jus come in from BC in almost like spurts, sometimes its everywhere sometimes its nowhere to be found. but it comes canned. which was also suprising, having to find a can opener to smoke a joint. lol

i've gotten two bags of what was called "kush" before. one was mango kush and the other (which i've got now) is orange kush. i really don't know much about strains, so i don't know if they're legitimately kush, but damn are they good.

The only kush that I've smoked has been OG Kush. Never smoked a true kush before.

Kush is a motherstrain. Early 70's.

One of the first imports into the western world by something other than the local Mexican/Columbian stuff. Native to Afghanistan/Pakistan/India. Short growing season. Dark green. Extremely resinous. Broad leaves, with a stupifying high. Used for hash production locally. Seldom smoked by the locals as leaf.

It's genetics are in almost every hybrid strain on the market today.

You most likely had a hybrid. Straight Kush, like Afghani #1 is an extremely narcotic type high. Not very pleasant because it's just waaay too strong for most folks. A strong body high. Not much for the mind. Roller coaster ride. Peaks and valleys.

It breds well. As some Hawaiian and California growers found out.

    The rest is history.

Damn you canadians are so lucky. 70 a quarter? Around here Kush would be about 100-110.
But the last time someone told me it was kush, I got a bag of shake... fucking joke, he told me it was the bottom of the bag but still you don't sell people shake when you're paying 60 for an 1/8th.

ya it usta come in cans, my dealer would only sell it a half oz at a time for 140 a half oz. but he dropped my price since we've been good friends for a while. The purple kush I usta pay 70 , but Ive been pickin em up for 60. One thing about kush is ppl say you can never tell a what strain it is by looks/smell. but with kush you definatly can. I mean I got about a half gram left . and it smells like I jus blazed a fatty in here. whenever its aroudn I enjoy buying it.

one day Ill run into some different strains n see how those are.

hey wonk, out of curiosity do you know of any seedbanks that sell juicy fruit? i've only ever heard of fruity juice except from you and a few other people before which i assumed were just confused or uninformed as to the strain name....but then again, some strains go by different names and are simply slightly different or just renamed for a different company, as far as i know (which isnt too very far)

i'm just curious...perhaps theres a strain i'm not aware of thats really good. i know there are plenty of strains like that, but i'd be interested in learning more about juicy fruit...sounds yummy :)

there are only two strains i've tried that had names associated with them that stand out as my favorites, and they were bubblegum (which was the desired bubblegum phenotype...unmistakable flavor! it was the sweetest, best tasting pot i've ever had), and pearl. as far as i know there isnt a seed company that currently sells anything called "pearl" but it stands to reason that there may be such a strain, as there are plenty of related strains with pearl in the name....early pearl, silver pearl, etc.

the high from the pearl was the absolute best i've EVER had....incredibly energetic and stimulating, real heady, makes you restless, want to go do something, go outside and play.....

if i smoked that shit all the time i'd never gain weight, i'd always be happy and active, outdoors having fun. i'm working on getting equipment to start growing and have some of the most important items as well as hashberry seeds, and i do like the stoned, lazy, couchlock effect of indicas, but i prefer the sativas unless i want to go to sleep soon. my first grow will be all indica, but i'm thinking my second grow should be a good sativa. hopefully i can get the sats started right before my indica harvest so that i might be able to have some of both for a time.

gotcha. so it may be a legitimately unique strain not available to everybody, or it could be the strain available via commercial breeders with a confusingly similar name, i guess. either way is as likely. things get mixed up all the time, but there are lots of strains around that dont get into commercial distribution, as far as i know.
