Ponytail dread hat, with pattern!

I woke up in the middle of the night and couldn't sleep. Bad for me, maybe good for you, if you like crazy hats!

Yep, that's where I saw it, someone on the Livejournal dread community asked about it, so I made a pattern.

 

too cute! my boyfriend's sister made one like that for our friend danielle (who has gorgeous dreads... she's my hero!) and she put some drawstrings in it, too.

Ooh thats awesome, is it made of felt? I have a hat that has a ponytail, but it only lets out on from the back, and its knitted.

 

I made this one from fleece, but I plan to run by the Goodwill and see if I can find a wool sweater to cut up. If you wash them in hot water first, they felt up pretty well.
