I normally don't remember dreams, but since I was about 8 (I'm now almost 20), I've had a dream that my teeth were crumbling out. Not just falling- crumbling. The scenario changes and even the manner in which they crumble changes. Sometimes I choke on the crumbles of my teeth and they are coming out in chunks, sometimes they are almost dissolving into a chalky, grainy paste (like wet, uncoated advil), and sometimes they just won't stop crumbling and keep coming out. The situation I'm in when this occurs always changes too.

They're so vivid that I always wake up in a panic and start feeling my teeth. It's really truly terrifying and I typically have this dream twice a week- more since I started taking melatonin to help me sleep a few weeks ago.

    Whatsit mean?

hope this helps. its a pretty good interpretation i think. i have a couple of dream books but their interpretations werent that good.. something lame and generic like "if your teeth fall out it means you are not telling the truth about something." yeah ok.

ive had a few dreams similar in the past, but my teeth werent crumbling, they were just all very loose and then fell out of my mouth. i agree that it is an unsettling dream.

I usually have those dreams when I'm not taking care of my teeth. And yes, they are QUITE unsettling.

Funny, I had one of these dreams recently when I stopped taking melatonin. For me, my teeth were loose and falling out, and parts of it would fall out intact, like a piece of a denture, and it was all bloody too.

I agree this is extremely unsettling. But I've had these dreams in the past, and always occurs when my school and/or work performance is starting to suffer, and I start worrying about what my peers are thinking of me.

I always usted to have this dream when i was younger. I would be standing in front of a mirror, and than i'd feel my teeth with my tongue and they would all be loose and than they'd fall out. Even though i'd be infront of a mirror at the start, i'd never see myself smile missing teeth before the end of the dream [IMG] Sorta always tried to see myself toothless after i had the dream for the first time [IMG], but it never worked.
