Ok i got to a private catholic school, and drugs have become quite a problem for the school lately. Kids just being stupid basicly, one went to a dance fucked up on xan bars and soma's, got caught,this was the first week of school. Alot of the kids i go to school with can barely comprehend drug use.the majority of people there have this mindset that if you smoke weed then you might aswell be signing your life off to crack and heroin. Ok, so i get called into counselor's office,quite discreetly,they called me into a different teachers office and then directed me from there. long story short is someone told them that i am "providing" script pills for people, wich is total bullshit. i have never messed around with any prescript pills in any way. so they talk to me and ask me all the reg. questions,who does it,where do you get it blah blah. i just gave them blunt and nonspecific answeres,then they go to me and just asked me how often i smoke and stuff. now this i know not to lie about,i never told them flat out,they had to ask me,but they know i smoke,and that i would fail a drug test right now. they are giving me 2 weeks to get clean before they drug test me, heres the kicker : if i tell anybody about what we talked about in that room then i will get pulled in earlier than the 2 weeks and be tested,and have a good chance of failing. Their exact words being "if you talk about this then we will pull you in early to drug test you and you will fail, you just told us you would" lovely form of blackmail eh? its a fair deal,them giving me 2 weeks, but im just pissed that some kid said i was providing pills,this is total bullshit and also that they black mailed me in a way. And im also tired of the ignorance at the school, i told the counselor (who has never smoked) that weed is not addictive and she flat out told me that it was, by this point i wasnt even going to argue,it didnt matter and it would just piss me off even more. if it wasnt for soccer i would switch schools,not b/c of this incident but im just tired of these over shelterd/ignorant catholic school kids and as much as i hate to say,faculty aswell. i seriously do not believe you can counsel someone on drugs or weed if you have never done any of it yourself.
You know its funny because the stuff churchs provide like for example wine...destroys your liver and kidneys and can cause addictive personalities and even get to the point of giving a person the DETS. I think its sad that religion has been so curropt and that they care about the littlest things. Shit back in the day when coke was legal the Pope used to have a pouch of coke on him at all times said the History Channel. Should that be considered hypocritical?
Get used to it bro. Most people are horribly close-minded and can't comprehend that they might be wrong about something. I have had a lot of people start hating me just because I smoke weed. The kicker is usually none of those people have ever tried weed, so the only things they know about it is what they learned in their 6th grade drug education class, yet they've all smoked cigarettes or had alcohol. Next time you talk to her, if you ever do, ask her if she knew that marijuana was only outlawed because it was too large of a competitor for tobacco companies.
