I’m a High School Student doing a project on the Vegetarian Culture. I would appreciate if you could answer the following questions. I need to interview at least 5 people but it would be wonderful if I had more responses. I would appreciate if you respond by Thursday, October 11th. Thank you so much for your help.

1. Are there different vegetarian groups? What group would you put yourself in?
2. Is there any difference between these groups?
3. Why did you become a vegetarian?
4. When or at what age did you become a vegetarian? How long have you been a vegetarian?
5. What is the first step to becoming a vegetarian?
6. What is your favorite food?
7. Are you concerned about the purchases you make? Does that affect the clothing that you wear?
8. What types of music do you listen to?
9. What kinds of food do you eat?
10. How do you spend your free time?
11. Do you spend time watching TV? If so, what do you watch and how long to you spend time watching TV?
12. Do you ever watch movies? If so, what movies?
13. Is there any symbols used by vegetarians? If so, what?
14. Is there any slang associated with vegetarians? Or slang that you use?
15. What do you eat on American holidays that have food traditions such as turkey on Thanksgiving? What traditions do you have?
16. What is considered wrong and right behavior in your opinion?
17. What is your moral code – what you consider right or wrong?
18. Who would you consider to by your “enemy” (group (s) that opposes vegetarians)?
19. What do you believe is the role of the government? What would you say in the main purpose of the government is?
20. What is your opinion on these issues facing America: Animal rights:Animal testing:

21. What political party do you most connect with? (Democratic, Republican, 3rd Party, etc.)

26. How is your life different than that of vegetarians portrayed on TV or in movies?
