i was wondering if anybody here has been addicted to dxm, i used to be and have found myself extremely depressed after quitting. can someone relate?
Never tried it myself, but I think you have a better chance to find someone who can relate in the psychedelics subgenre: http://www.hipforums.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=48
A friend of mine was extremely addicted to DXM. He was to the point where he was taking 2 boxes of cords every morning and two more every night. Thats a shit load of dxm, for those of you who don't know. He did four boxes a day for an entire year straight. He would skip school and wander around all day to different stores and steal boxes of dxm. He even got arrested and thrown in jail because they caught him one time. He was seriously addicted and I don't think anybody saw him once where he wasn't tripping on dxm. He hasn't touched dxm for about 8 months now, but he still has problems. His personality completely changed and sometimes he has trouble talking. It takes him a minute to respond to people when he having a conversation. He also says that whenever he runs he starts to trip a little bit again and his vision it messed up a lot of the time. He is slowly getting better over time, but after 8 months he still has a lot of trouble. He also developed a severe case of depression, but thats getting better over time too. I don't know how addicted you were, but if you have a lot of the symptoms that my friend does I would advise you to see a doctor or get therapy or something.
Never tried the stuff, and I'm not planning to try, it doesn't sound like much fun. Good luck with it, in any case!
DXM, is that robo? I ate a box of corcidin a few times in high school. I knew this couple that kept doing it all the time for 3 years, they went crazy, they can't even speak english anymore, they just wander around, i'm amazed they havent lost each other in a crowd and ended up wandering alone.
