Anyone else taste something metallic on LSD?

everytime i do acid i get a weird kind of subtle metallic taste in my mouth. I think its probably the acid fucking with my senses but it seems to occur every time and i've never noticed it on other psychedelics like 2c-i and DOC?

 

It's something to do with tripping acid. I get it every time on L. Everyone I know does, too. I don't know why it happens, but it's not so bad.

I'm pretty sure cid has no taste. So what ever your tasting is'nt cid.

 

its not that they're tasting the acid itself so much as when they are tripping they "taste" something with a slightly metallic character. when they're tripping, not when they're dosing.

though thats just how i read it. and like i said i've never noticed it before. however in the next week or two i'll hopefully be taking a few hits i just got from some kind of awesome guy...so i'll keep my mind open and try to see if i notice something like this.

and yes, acid does have a flavor, just like pretty much everything else in the world. its just that dosages for acid are so infinitesimal that there would be no way to notice the taste of a dose of acid on blotter, sugarcubes, whatever.

 

I've also noticed that taste, but only when doing blotter, never windowpane,tabs,liquid, so I'm guessing it's a subtle taste of something having to do with the paper itself................

 

Acid usually has a slight bitterness to it. That might be what you're tasting.

 

ok let me clarify that its not the acid itself, i dont taste it when im dosing the acid i currently get always comes on sweettarts, and they taste no other than a regular sweettarts, i only get the metallic taste after i dose

i think my question has been answered tho...must be just an effect of the LSD on the brain somehow distorting my sense of taste ie the metallic taste is just another form of sensory distortion

ya, i taste it to. if you take more acid when you are already on it you can really taste it - tastes almost electric metallic.(gives me the shivers-good ones)

 

never really got that taste too much, couple times maybe... the flake of crystal didnt have it.

Just joking (or am I ), I usualy take big dose at once and after that I don't feel body at all, including the taste. The only thing I ever felt on acid was Absynt and that is only because we idiots didn't add water, we just had a shots of it like it is, and like that it is fu..ing strong and like some kind of explosion in your body happend, specially in the mouth. It was so funny, like on cartoons when they swallow dinamite or something like that.
