My girlfriend is going to be making sassafras wafers from oil that she is going to be distilling from the bark of some sassafras albidum and we were wondering that once the liquid portion of the oil is evaporated what can we use as a good binder/filler to press the safrole "crystals" into wafers?

I'd think maybe cellulose fiber.... After all, most pill manufacturers use that same cellulose as a binder to both absorb any trace moisture, and as a binding agent............... (Just a guess though, don't quote me on it)====== SQUID
