Has anyone read this book what did you think?

It's based on a true events. A preacher gets in a horrible car crash and dies and he is revived a few minuted later and he talks about how heaven was and that he say his grandpa and stuff. Its very insprirational you can probaly get it from most bookstores.I highly reccomend it.

lolol..it's crazy that you posted this^^. probably about 2-3 years ago that guy came to my Church back home and spoke at the morning service and told the whole story to the congregation.

it really impacted a lot of people, for sure. but i sometimes fear Christian's mind being set so much on "getting to Heaven" instead of actually focusing on Christ. because really, some people go as far as to almost hating life, because "we're meant for better things". cuz yeah, that's where we're going when we die(unless Christ comes back first), but we were put HERE to make God's Will done on Earth as it is in Heaven...
    ....just a thought^^

I'm skeptical. The experience in heaven conforms closely to common floklore--a childlike, unsophisticated vision, much like the Bugs Bunny cartoons, with literal pearly gates and streets paved with gold, and all his old departed friends looking exactly as they did before waiting there to greet him. No disembodied spirits there! I'm inclined to believe that it was a dream or hallucination brought about by his trauma, drawing heavily on his own preconceptions of what heaven would be like.

Personal Locutions are to be read with an open mind. I for one feel as though there is probably some things that happened to this individual that may make it a worth while read...

HOWEVER, I know god is a VERY powerful cat and anything is possible to him, but for a man to be dead 90... nine zero... minutes and be alive to tell the tale is a BONIFIED miracle. I mean am a Qualified to Defibirilate people, And to get this license in Canada ... EH!? you need to know that people even though revived can be brain dead within minutes of the brain not having oxygen...

Its a wee bit hard to believe ... but like I said, I believe in God, and he may have some tricks up his sleeve that I cannot comprehend I'll read it with an open mind :)

And people have been having these types of experiences for ages ... read on some of the lives of the saints... ;)
