Hello We are new to this site but hope that we can find some helpful information. Free and I (Kay) seriously want to move to a commune, small place where we can live the life we desire. We're Canadian / European and we were wondering if we might find a commune in the USA or Canada that suits our conception. We're looking for a real commune to live in with real people and not a touristic spot. We tried Europe and we don't want to live there anymore - it's too small and it just doesn't work. A friend told me about a growing place in Virginia and somewhere in Cali. So please go ahead - if you have a good and serious advice. We appreciate it very much. Thank you. KayandFree
www.ic.org thats a good site they dont update,an communes seem to come and go,but theres plenty there if you look.. the place in virginia is twin oaks or there sister commune,acorn. hope that helps.. love n lite
