mycelium question

hey, i am a first time grower and i just had one quick question. how long should you expect to wait after innoculation before the first mycelium appears? i think its around 3 days but i wasnt sure, and its been about 3 days since i innoculated but no noticable mycelium that i can see. thanks guys

 

it could take weeks depending on how old the spores are. it'll start going in 4 days trust me.

 

Yeah temperature also plays a big role in how fast they grow. Keep it at around 80 if you can. They'll be fine to fruit down to the upper 60's as well, but they'll grow much slower.

thanks to all that replied, and yeah after the 6th day all 12 jars really took off....i actually used the pf tek but with a little bit diff substrate.....i used the organic brown rice flour, but instead of vermiculite, a friend reccommended miracle gro potting soil, and i was skeptical but hes pretty experienced with growing shrooms and it works 95 percent of the time for him....so far so good for me too
