so, my son is 15 and a half months old. we just got a big carton of goldfish crackers, because he has never had them before. and he is not a fan. this kid will eat anything, loves veggies, meat, pasta, rice everything, except these. I just don't get it. he took a bite, and then took it out and threw it over the gate into the kitchen. so now I have a giant tub of goldfish crackers, and I don't know what to do. I like them, but not nearly enough to eat a carton by myself! i guess there is really no point to this, but I am a stoner, and I am lounging, so I can think of no better place to post this.
wow. I read this wrong, I read this like he is 15 years and half a month old, wondering why he hasn't had goldfish before and how you had a baby when you were 7.
gold fish have a long shelf life. Keep them in the pantry until your hubby has some of the boys over for an afternoon of beers, let them polish of the crackers. I've always wondered, are you guys in Boulder?
Try pizza flavored goldfish, they are tasty. Oooh or flavor blasted, they rule. Haven't had goldfish in awhile...
LOL, my 2.5 year old's the same way. She eats salads, onions (yuck) and practically anything, but for some odd reason she won't eat regular or even flavored gold fish. Only ones she'll eat are the large cinnamon sugar cookie ones that are only obtainable as a prize from a select few restaurants (i found this out when I called pepridge farms to find where I could purchase them), although admittedly I typically get her a churro or something so I can have the cookies as those are the siznit. =)
My 14 month old loves goldfish! I bought her the rainbow single bags, and they only lasted a couple of weeks. Great for travel too.
