You have heard of it in movies,books and shows the guys "friend" girl. The girl that plays video games, wrestles with the guys, dosn't dress up and ect. ,but is it actually hard for them in relationships? Can the tomboy get a boyfriend without having to change? From what i gather some guys actually find it cool. Is it ever really an issue? What do you guys think?
I was that girl. I could out-climb, out-run, out-gross nearly every guy I knew. I had no boyfriends, but tons of "guy" friends for years... then one day I met a guy who LIKED tomboys! We've been together for nearly 16 years now. You've just gotta meet the right kind of guy Oh yeah... and my son says having a tomboyish mom is SO COOL! love, mom
I was that girl too. I can be a guy with the best of them but I know how to be a lady. I've held down many really good relationships
I was also that girl, but I think it tones down a bit as you get older, and the womanly side kicks in. It did for me... I still do guy stuff. I love to work with my hands and build things, ride four wheelers, etc... it's still fun.
to be completely honest with you, if you are accually comparing this to a real situation you are in. it is most likely nothing i have been with plenty of girls, my current girlfriend i have a very strong comfortable relationship with i have been going out with her for almost two years now. and through these times i have hung out with all my guy friends, and one of them always has that sister, or somebody that has lived around them for years. and are always just kind of there, and i have just been friends, more of just comfortable friends like i am with my guyfriends that i just go out and havefun with. than as i would normally be with girls. and if i was dating somebody they would always question this for some reason and i could never get them to understand that fact. im sure it is nothing
