I know theres a similar thread in the stoners lounge forum, but i'm wondering what everyone does to keep bud in their car? currently, im using the hollow part of my old PS2, but that can only hold so much bud. Lookin for something to use in conjunction with that. Seen stash cans at my local headshop. Probably wouldnt be able to get my than 3/4 of a Z in there. Anyone have a better idea?
Check to see if you can pop out the center console or cupholders (unless they are the fold out kind). The wheel cover (the horn, whatever Im to baked to remember the exact name right now) is a good spot, if yours pops out you can get aleast 2-3 zips in there. Also check the leather cover for the emergincy break, if your car has one. Basicly go over your car very closly, find out what parts of the interior pop out, and use those. Let them search all they want, unless they bringout the doggie there's no way barny fife will find your stash.
besides taking out the center console thing all of them other spots would be to small to take the ammount the OP said he was trying to stash. personally unless ur getting rid of some of it i wouldnt carry that much in my car but thats just me. i always try to keep as little as possible in my car. but for small ammounts there are tons of places to put stuff just look around. and the time it takes you to find a good place a cop would have to spend even more time to find it.
I'm lookin for somewhere besides my ps2 to keep another Z. based on home situation, car is safest place for me.
Jars are good! I sell some on my website www.grooovycandy.com. I don't know what 3/4 of a Z means but I guess if they won't fit into ones you've seen at a head shop then they might be a little small but I am gonna make bigger ones soon! Actually I can custom make one for ya if you want. The big ones are like 5-6 inches high. Okay I'm done advertising sorry. =P
I like glass mason jars because they seem the most odor proof and they're water tight. Then, you can tape/secure them to the chassis of the car. Another idea would be to get a case of coke and empty a couple cans and fill with your stash. Then, you could hide the empty cans in the middle of the case. Personallly, I would think that hiding that much weight would be safer in your house or yard. You can always find some good place that your family won't find out about, and its much less likely to get found by the PO. Maybe get a good water tight jar and hide the stash in a bush or wood pile? You can get pulled over in a car and might get it searched sounds like the best place to hide your weed to me.
less likely to get pulled over and searched than for my room to get poked through. guess ill get an airtight jar and find somewhere outside.
Thats what i do. Its been raining pretty hard lately around here so i just keep my bowl, my ubie, my homemade stem/bowl (so i can just melt it to a water bottle for a quick homemade bong), and my stash of legal and illegal substances in a small, black metal case, which is then put it 2 big ziploc bags to stay waterproof.
for long term storage i recommend vacuum sealing. when you remove the air around your bud, there is absolutely no smell whatsoever. plus it keeps the bud fresher. keeping it vacuum-sealed in the fridge or freezer would be even better.
mason jars are def. the way to go for storing weed. as for storing weed in your car, this is a bad idea. i never keep weed in my car unless im planning on using it in some way in the next few hours. no idea what kind of car you drive,so cant really say whats a good stash spot. i can say this, NEVER keep it in the glove box, no matter what the circumstance is. but whoever said to keep it in a few cans in the middle of a case of coke is actually a very good idea.
