Pushing Someone Away

Is it just me... or do any of you guys have the tendacy to push people away when they care for you?

its not just guys who do it, chicas do it too... and for real they are meaner than men when they do...

everyone has the tendency to put up protective barriers whenever someone gets too close emotionally, whether it is because they have been hurt b4 or because they fear being hurt or just because they are assholes.

if someone you love is pushing you away then you have to make the decision for yourself of whether they are forcing you into a submissive role in an abusive relationship or whether they are genuinely scared of that affection in their lives. either way it is something that you have to force yourself to focus on as to whether the relationship is good for you as a human being.

I just close up those doors and push it all away.

 

You know what? I used to, but I realized that opening up isn't so bad. I guess you just have to open up and be honest with yourself first, then you can go out and do the same for someone else.

 

I could never be honest with myself though ...

I'm my own worst enemy, for real.

 

Yes I can often but when its right I slide into the feeling of love.

i've never knowingly pushed someone away who genuinely cares about me...although sometimes people give confusing signals...

Yeah, that little ninja girl has been giving me lessons. You should see me jumping between buildings at night when everyone is sleeping...
