lol...pretty much EVERYONE else is going to say this on here^^...

just let em be. they're going to fall out at first. i backcombed mine as well and they were VERY VERY tight when my friends got done, then in a day or so they looked like CRAP! i know it doesn't really sound fun, but you've gotta be patient. and trust me, it's totally worth it in a year's time^^

Hahha :p mine are backcombed too, I tried it myself first, but didn't work well, than a friend helped me and it worked better, but not very good, so then I just waited and they looked crap for a few months, but now I like 'm :D

backcombed dreads are going to fall out some, it's unavoidable. one of my best friends has backcombed dreads and cannot stand when he get's loops or when they come undone. he get's them touched up every once in a while. it's kind of funny because my dreads are the total opposite of his (messy with TONS of loops) My advice for you though, dont' sweat it. the first month is the hardest.

They weren't locked up. You don't have dreadlocks yet. Just be patient. :)

one tip tho, dont wash it for the first 1 or 2 weeks ... it helps my flyaways and encourages the loose guys to join in
