Black/Female president?

This has been something that people have been talking about for years. I can't count how many times I have heard: Do you think there will ever be a female president? Or a black one? Do any of you think either one of these things will happen and when? I hope soon... people need to change there ways, and remember all humans are the same.

They might give the public a black or female president, but it won't really matter because whoever they give us will be working for the same elites at the top. It's almost inevitable Hillary will be the next president, and she is torn from the same cloth as Bush and the rest of them. So they might give us the illusion of having a choice, but that isn't the case at all under this system. The president is nothing more than the figurehead for the people behind the scenes who wield the real power and formulate policy.

the point that i don't really feel like getting flamed for is that i would have a really hard time voting for a black person because after meeting a couple hundred of them i still have only seen about 5 that are decent human beings, and 2 or 3 of those are way too stupid to run anything, let alone a country. i know it isn't because they are black, it's because most black people have a terrible upbringing; but still, when the same group fucks you over again and again you start to close yourself off to that group, even if you know deep down that there is nothing wrong with someone just based on skin color.

also, don't even try to claim that hippies are open to new ideas; based on my experience at this site and a few real life experiences, i'd have to say that hippies are one of the most closed-minded bunches out there


but overall, i agree with pressed rat that it really doesn't matter anyway, for the reasons he gave

also i wouldn't trust a black pres. because i'm afraid that he'd further affirmative action which is without a doubt one of this country's greatest evils.

I don't get why people make a bit deal about that sort of thing. If we're more focused on presidential hopeful's sex or race or whatever, rather than what they represent, then we're really losing focus on the whole point of the election, aren't we?

 

i don't think the first one is going to be any sort of a myrical. pioneers of anything are usually almost the reverse of what we hope to start seeing that thing for.

but unless the country totally collapses, or the bushites impose a military dictatorship, before then, i think hillary is pretty much of a shoe in. i think obama's blown it, trying to make himself appealing to the dominant get tough retardedness, and if we get someone like gooliani shoved down our throats i don't think anyone is ever going to beleive we have even a ghost of democracy ever again.

hillary as prez and obama as v.p. might be a smart move though. obama as anti-assasination insurance, the way the republidroids have always choosen theirs for the past several decades.

if the heritage foundation/rand corporation/pnac et al, were really smart, they'd run condi rice as their presidential hopeful. where in the hell they ever came up with a black female white supremist is just plane utterly mind boggling, but it certainly was a brilliant move on their part, and she just might be the one form of their insanely bitter pill people actully might swallow.

(and i'm just wierd enough to be curious what she actually would do, not that i'd want what i suspect most likely, but i AM curious)

(i also think underwear is being loonie, she's obviously never met a jessie jackson, nat king cole or satchmo, or their more everyday equivalents. when i was in the air force going through tec school in biloxi miss., it was the darker skinned local residents who were the more, if not only, sane people arround there. not to mention that race has, if one would observe objectively, not diddly to do with diversity of political or any other perspective. and it is only BECAUSE of the kind of ignorance expressed in her(his?) post, that affirmative action was ever needed, or still is)

As long as they can clean the shit that Bush has made, either will do, and I would like to see a woman or a black person as a president, its that time. I hope. white man, white man, white man, etc. is American Presidential Politics RACIST? and SEXIST? yes. i believe so, ppl are afraid to have a black man, cus they think they will be assasinated, and a woman, because she will be moody??? give me a break!!! were all living people! The American people are so gullible you could give them a woman or African-American, and they could be JUST LIKE BUSH, but many people won't say anything just because of the aforementioned, and are duped into believing they're living in a democracy because of such superficialities.

It will be the same thing once Hillary takes office. Hillary is a warmongering neocon globalist who is hardly different from Bush, yet the Democrats, being just as brainwashed as the Republicans, will go along with whatever she does, simply because she has a (D) next to her name.
